i started this post for the people who are saying we cant compete now and that we will be lucky to be 6-10. what have we lost or changed to make you think this? i dont understand. if you are steelers fans and watched the games last year, you have to understand that we were hammered by injuries. we were 8-8 with our qb missing games and coming back less than 100%. we missed our top defensive player half the year and several others missed multiple games and we still lead the league in d. our oline was a mash unit all year. we had a diva at wr and he is gone so i dont think that hurts us. harrison was a shell of himself. his back would not allow him to get under tackles like he used to and was much easier to block. just help me understand please because i am starting to think i dont understand the game at all. so lets debate it and figure it out. seriously, i would like to hear legit arguements

that man is an idiot. i got to meet him when i was in high school. he was a state senator or something here in tenn. he came to our high school to speak. he told us before his speech he thought this was a bad idea because our county was a republican county. he told mr. collins our principle that he was wasting his time even being there

I don't think none of the free agent losses are a big deal Harrison is a shell of his former self he can't cover anymore either, Wallace drops too many passes for the money he wants I will miss his occasional big play though. Lewis had good coverage all season but I think he had only 1 int Cortez Allen caused more turnovers coming off the bench. The Ravens have lost a lot more than the Steelers 5 starters already from their Superbowl team the division is up for grabs, the Bengals don't have a elite qb not worried about them.

I wouldn't really be worried about out offense except for the fact that Heath is hurt. Yes we lost Wallace and Mendy, but our line is going to be better next year so the run game should improve. However it leaves Ben with less weapons and at least having Heath there is critical...not sure what we do there?

The defense should be fine for the most part, only thing I really worry about there is if our starting OLB's show up and do their job?

i actually seen someone post in another thread that all the players we lost will hurt us. he or she actually listed mundy, legs, hampton, and mendy. how are any of these players not replaceable?

Al Gore is a joke and shouldn't be taken seriously.

It's really too bad we are disqualified from the draft or something like that. No OTAs, no camp, no preseason to sort these guys out. I also heard that the defense has to play with burlap sacks over their helmets and stuff.

And I guess saying that Al Gore is a joke automatically means that I think that George Bush was a genius?

Sorry TTF, I had to say it and am biting my fingers from saying more.

    I am done now.
