Mike Tomlin looks like a genius for starting Russell Wilson

I wanted Wilson to start the season, but he got hurt. I was worried about locker room issues after the team went 4-2 with Fields. Fields actually performed better than expected. Looks like there's been no issues with Wilson starting in the locker room.

    He sees the practice.

SO does Fields. He’s gracious cuz he knows he was being outperformed in practice.

Players see too. None of this is rocket science. Ingenious. Or anything special. Play the better performer practice player. So he did.

Well… if anyone out there understands the finer mental points of quarterbacking, it’s Cam Newton!

    He's just casting Bait.
He knows one was in the twilight of his career, and could hardly move, and the other was a Young guy.
One was actually a fumble, and the other wasn't. One fumbled the ball right by him, and the other had the ball snapped over his head 20 yards down the field. In no way shape, or form was either play even close to the same. He knows this. He's just looking to rile someone up. Used to work for me, but I've caught on. LoL

Not being a fan of the overrated Newton I loved that! He need's to go away. Joke. Another gimmick.

Getting back to the thread it was a no brainer by Tomlin.

You can't win the super bowl in the regular season but you can put you to have at least a chance

I know people are gonna get mad at me when I say this.... but Russell Wilson is better now, than Ben was from 2012-2021.

There... I said what a lot of people are thinking.

Russ has his mojo back, I’ve seen enough, they can go all the way with him playing like this. Credit to Tomlin, definitely made the right call.

When Russ first took over the biggest difference right away was making the right throws but his accuracy wasn’t great and was holding the ball too long and taking bad sacks, all things that got him in trouble in Denver but he has gotten better with each game and now playing at a level that will make this team hard to beat.

What does this say about the great Sean Payton. To eat that contract when the player still has the ability to play.

This is an interesting and likely controversial position.

Let me ask you a question. Do you have as much confidence in Russ as you did in Big Ben back in 2012-2016? I don’t yet and maybe its just the lack of body of work with the Steelers, or maybe it’s because I don’t feel like our WR’s are as good as what we had back then.
But I can’t shake the feeling that somehow the Steelers are playing above their talent level right now.

Scum sucking schedule pigs have the Steelers playing 3 football games in a matter of 11 days against the hardest part of their schedule. WTF man! Why didnt these ****ing idiots have the Cleveland game this thursday so there was a longer break between thursday and the saturday game against the Ravens? Such ****ing worthless greedy idiots who dont give two ****s about player health or anything but ****ing money.

You can't compare 7 games vs 10 seasons for Ben.We need also to see how this season will end...Of course this season Wilson is much better that Ben was from 2019 to 2021 but the 2014 to 2018,we need to see how the season will end
