Steelers Vs Browns Gameday Thread

I was watching the Shannon Sharp 'Unc' youtube of the podcast and he was talking about how a team would try to retaliate when someone took a cheap shot on one of their teammates. I mentioned the Juju hit on Burfict as an example and someone responded "Burfict got a concussion on that, not cool"...this person obviously never watched the Marvin Lewis era of Bungle football.

Winston reminded me of Carson Palmer when the Steelers would bring heat the first two series with blitzing and then later in the game...even when he had time...he was rushing it thinking the D was on him when they really werent. ha

 

Mayfield looks sharp. Clowns should have hung in there with him.

I didn`t like the play calling there. Nothing but bad can happen on that side of the field with almost no time left.

Really, what was trying to be accomplished there? No time to score unless you go deep on the first play. Throw deep or run in that situation.

 

Think Id rather have network cuts to JJ cheering your team on than I would Taylor LOL

PFF has him as the highest rated player so far.

 

Eagles then a 6 day week for Baltimore then 4 days to Chiefs...those would be 3 hard games with the normal week prep.

 

I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t trying to get a few more touches for Williams. He seems to be getting eased in a bit more now

Yeah, a pass for meaningful yardage, not a short pass. Throw a short pass and it might get tipped or if receiver catches and fumbles, the Stains are set up for a score. Risk/reward very poor on short stuff in that situation.

Some of these QBs do better by struggling in bad organizations and getting traded while they can still develop.
