For 18 seasons this was Ben’s locker at the stadium

They do not assign it to anyone

When is Ben eligible for HOF? Is it '26? If he's not a first ballot HOF'er.... there's gonna be riots at Canton.

Don’t hold your breath. Hines Ward is still waiting.

Ben stands out a lot more with all the records he has vs other qbs than what Ward does vs other WRs. Just my 2 cents

I feel like Ben might have to wait a couple of years. He definitely deserves to be in on the first ballot, but I doubt the committee will vote him in right away. The media has never given Ben the credit he deserves, and I am sure we will have to rehash the rape allegations again. Plus there is the "to many Steelers in the HOF" narrative. Even Bettis didn't go in the first year.

Agree...I think he's first ballot. I'd be shocked and haven't given much thought to him not being first ballot. Maybe I should?

Roethlisberger played QB and led his team to 3 Super Bowls, winning 2... plus he has the career stats to back it up. Apples and Oranges in comparison to WR Hines Ward and his HOF eligibility. How many QBs have won at least 2 Super Bowls after the turn of the century? Answer: Roethlisberger, Brady, Eli Manning, Patrick Mahomes and Peyton Manning. That's it and that is pretty damn good company.

Yeah, Plunkett won 2 and still isn't in HOF..... but he didn't have near the stats that Ben has.

That’s all well and good but I wouldn’t think twice about putting $100 down that he won’t be a first ballot HOFer.

So do you think Brees, Rodgers and Eli Manning are going to be first ballot? If Eli gets it this year on first..... Ben has to. Period. That is complete and utter BULLSH!T if he doesn't.

Rodgers will likely make it because he was league MVP and SBXLVMVP.

I think Brees and Rodger’s will be. Eli Nope. Ben Nope. If Ben didn’t have all those allegations against him then I would feel differently.

The whole first ballot, second ballot, etc. is ridiculous. They are either Hall of Famers or not, there should only be one ballot. They all get the same jacket, and their busts go in the same rooms as the others.

Ben is going in first ballot. I don't even think it's debatable.

I will take that bet. He will be a 1st ballot HOF. No problem.

Yes, he will be first ballot HOF. Brady coming back out of retirement really helps this.

It was all Cowher players by 2005. Truth! Woodson, Lake, Lloyd, Dawson, O'Donnell, Huey Richardson, etc... were long gone.

Hopefully Popcorn can win the Super Bowl in 2024 with his own players along with Pete Carroll's QB. :lolol:

Big Ben is going to be a 1st ballot hall of famer. This isn't a debate. He has the numbers, the rings and the highlights in the big games.

We did the stadium tour last summer (2023) and took pictures standing next to Ben's locker. I remember there was something like he carved a #7 into the wood somewhere.

When the tour guide showed us the coaches lockers, and I saw Danny Smith's, I asked , "Is that where he keeps all his gum?" but nobody but my son laughed.
