17 Years ago tonight - the infamous 3-0 MNF "Mud Bowl" game w/Miami

I was at that game. It was pretty miserable, but I put my fishing rain gear on and was bone dry. The game itself was horrible. I recall Joey Porter having an INT or fumble return that snuffed out about the only drive worth a crap the entire game.

That game was just the worst of bad weather games that season. I swear it rained like 6 of 8 of the home games that year.

 

I think Bens first, second game was in a post hurricane game in Miami?? Memory shaky but I think it was his first start and because of hurricane game was moved to the night. Weather was terrible but we won in a defensive struggle.

 

I remember watching the game with my wife at a BW3s. Crazy game! Was glad to get the win as always! Here's to a great stretch run and a playoff birth. We cannot loose no more games! And, above all, beat off all those defenders
