First off, I had no idea that Ice Cube's name is O'Shea Jackson Sr. Second, I don't expect Deion to be at Colorado after his kids and Hunter move on. Next coach of the cowboys maybe?

Just like the Steelers did. I hope you are happy about that too. :)

Another team that controlled their own destiny and were just beat by a team with a losing record.

As a steelers fan, why would I be happy about the steelers losing? That is a really dumb comment. I just can't stand the mouth and crap talking that Sanders does and has obviously taught his sons.

You do know NFL, and College are way different right. Their are College teams that on there best days couldn't beat other College team....just because of the difference in talent..
In the NFL everyone has the same draft, and cap.

You do know that Kansas just set a college record by being a team with a losing record that just beat 3 consecutive top 25 ranked teams. Kansas is not one of those deadbeat teams.

That's awesome, and tell Me who Colorado beat to even be a top 25 team.??? I believe they only played one top 25 team, and lost to them.....so what did Colorado do to be even considered a top 25 team. Just like BYU who only played two top 25 teams, and lost to both....yet they were rank 14, or higher....Also....I'm not the one who compared a NFL game to a College game.

In other Big12 news… the winner of conference championship might not even make playoffs.

Yet when they were in the AAC they weren't good enough to compete with the 'big boy' conferences. 12 schools make the playoffs. I think each conference champ should get in. That is the definition of earning your shot.

Texas and Texas A&M are in the Championship game for the SEC in their first season in the conference. You know, the SEC that always has the strongest conference in college football. Oregon is in the Championship Game in their first year in the Big 10, the second strongest conference in college football.

Update- A&M blew it against Auburn. Looks like Georgia's back on the menu, boys.

Suck it Deion! One time I get into NCAA football (a little) and the Buffalo's and Pitt Panthers muck it up.

Let me know if Pitt is good next year.

What??? Your facts are a bit off. LoL
Texas A&M has been in the SEC for 12 years.
Texas, and Oklahoma it's their 1st Year...., and Oklahoma has only won 2 SEC games the whole year. LoL

What has that got to do with it. They haven't beaten enough top teams either. They are not the only team in the SEC....nor are they even close to the only team in the SEC that has won National Championships.

Article comparing how Deon handled this loss to how Mike Tomlin handled it. Deon takes the loss between the eye, and Mike Tomlin runs for cover. Just like Deon said, I think the Steelers started believing all the media Hype about them being the Best team in the AFC and didn't bother to show up for the game.

Deion Sanders gives the speech Mike Tomlin should have

The similarities between what happened to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday was eerily similar to what happened to the University of Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday afternoon. The Steelers and Buffs both went into their respective games on a hot streak and were preparing to square off against inferior opponents.

And both teams severely overestimated their opponents and took huge losses. The Steelers fell to the then 2-8 Cleveland Browns and the Buffs got blown out by the KU Jayhawks.

The difference between the two was how it was handled by the head coach. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin stayed his usual, robotic self, refusing to acknowledge the loss was anything more than just technical errors.

Meanwhile, you have Sanders being open and frank about himself and the players getting caught up in their own success and not playing hard enough against the Jayhawks or coaching well enough.

It would be so refreshing to hear Tomlin speak this honestly about his team. And it might put everyone on the team on notice that you can't just continue to offer up talking points and not make any real changes.

    D. Sanders should just tell the truth. We aren't really good, and any time we play an actual team we get beat. Just look at our record, and the record of the teams we actually beat. THE END.
