I felt the loss was very possible before the game. Bad set up. Thursday game away after playing the Rats.

Wish this game was scheduled at Philly (since we would lose that anyway and it is NFC) and next week Browns instead.

While that is true Wilson looked like crap against a below average defense.

They were probably due for a loss after winning 5 games in a row, then having to play another division rival after the Ravens game on a short week.

The refs screwed the Steelers by not calling intentional grounding.

Patterson has been a bust he shouldn't be getting any snaps unless there are injuries.

Only 2 years in the 70's. I watched them in the 60's but was to young to realize they sucked.

It was an odd performance. His passing numbers were very good. He completed 21 of 28 passes for 270 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. The touchdown pass was a beauty. He made a very alert play to fall on Harris's fumble.

On the other hand, he often tried to do too much. He held the ball too long. Take the first sack of the night as an example. Maybe Boswell makes a shorter field goal on that opening drive. The receivers are doing Wilson no favors. They don't fight to get open when plays break down. It is inexcusable, but Wilson needs to know that and throw the ball away instead of taking sacks. He also did a poor job protecting the ball on his fumble, which handed the Browns three points. That was one of my concerns when they signed him. He took way too many sacks last year in Denver, too, and a high percentage of them were from him holding the ball too long.

Only bright spot about that dumb ass FG attempt is it helps with the law of averages. BOZ was bound to miss one so that was it I hope.

It all boils down to the trenches. Steelers were getting slapped around on O-line and D-line. Steelers are the best they've been in years as far as skill positions on offense.... and LB and secondary. Those positions suffer when the battles in the trenches are consitently lost.

Not a good game called by Arthur Smith 4 active TEs but they don't use them in the redzone , I have seen enough of Patterson and Connor Heyward on offense.

No complaint just a bit of hope. We just have to split with the AFCN and we are 10-7. Beat Ravens already. We will beat the Browns in Pittsburgh and I believe the Bengals.

I thought 6-7 win season at start now I really feel we are finishing 11-6 and will be in Playoffs.

Seems to me when 9-7 teams go to the SB they played their strongest football at end of regular season. Nothing over yet boys.

Funny how so many were on the Patterson train after 3-4 good runs against the Colts. The guy has exceeded his best use by date.

He shouldn't be used in critical times in the game, he could probably stand to lose a few pounds .

You could see this L coming a mile off, it was the absolute to the letter blueprint of the game Tomlin always loses.

This play could've been a TD by Fields if he ran to the left a wide open hole.

Patterson is so slow on his kickoff returns that I was worried that the refs were going to flag him for a delay of game penalty.

Pickens couldn't get any PI calls, the refs really sucked in this game.

He definitely looks slow after returning from that injury. If he doesnt have it anymore, bring up Agnew, send heyward or Patterson to the PS or wherever, bottom line is we need better skill players with speed or the ability to get separation.

Herbig AND Benton were both blatantly held on Winston’s 1-yard TD run

That Garrett chap for the Browns was really good, shame the Steelers weren't aware of him before the game

Stop trying to be cute, bold, or whatever. What I have always like about Tomlin was the conservative nature of being a Defensive HC, and now someone has gotten inside His head to change that.
4th downs are for Punting, or Field goals(unless you must have it at the end of a game).
Qb 1 is Your Qb.....Qb 2 is the backup.....stop trying to make both happy. Pick one , and stay with it. Stop wasting practice time for 2 different qb schemes. There is a reason one is the starter, and a reason no SB winning team has done this. The cadence is different, the way they see the field is different....hell the way they take a snap is different.....You are just adding more problems than are unnecessary to the team.
