Horrible play calling the entire game but Tomlin's time management and indecision there at the end is inexcusable. Could have given them one play to get 2 yards on 4th down but he instead takes the penalty to give them two plays to get 7 yards. Then you call and waste a damn timeout before the play after spending several minutes going back and forth with the refs because you had NO friggin idea what you wanted to do. That TO would have been pretty handy to have in that last minute. I was ready for that mofo to be given his walking papers 5 years ago but here we are still having to put up with his ineptitude. This organization will not sniff the Super Bowl with this hack calling the shots.

 

Complain about everything. It comes down to the defense having to make 1 stop on a 4th down and they still win the game. Just like the Dallas game, they couldn't do it.

Yes, Tomlin was putrid and Smith's playcalling was beyond stupid. The punt sucked.

But it's still one play to make a stop and the "elite" defense against one of the 5 worst offenses in the league (possibly 2nd worst depending on how you look at it) couldn't make ONE play.
