correct - but all of the top teams have weakness'. those are ours, for sure. there are NO juggernauts in the league this year.

Should re-title this thread "The No Complaints - Complaint Thread".

 

The team is trending upward.

 

Russ has made a big difference, Pickens is settling in to his role, depth on this team is admirable and a shout out to Tomlin and Omar. O-line needs to be consistent, the more we control the ball and score the less stress it puts on the defense. In this second half of the season the defense can’t be on the field for a majority of the snaps, the opposition consecutively will wear us down as a team. Playing complementary football will be critical, also major props to Danny Smith and specials teams. They could be the difference in some of these tight games down the stretch.

 

You can complain still ...The o--line letting Russ get pressured too much.The D. NOT STOPPING THE RUN GOOD ENOUGH. there you go complain

D-- has to hold teams to under 20 points---including ELITE teams

 

I don't worry about Ravens games. Steelers are usually prepared and rarely lay eggs. There are exeptions like opening day of 2011 season... when Steelers got destroyed.

 

or in 2015 week 16 when the ravens were 4-10

 

they have a great running back weak Def. and Jackson could either play good or bad. It depends---- it should be a <hard fought> game

 

If they lose to the Ravens, the front page will be full of complaint threads.

At this time of year, I typically talk about the neighbors who still have blowup lawn ghost and cats out and the other neighbors putting out the blowup snowman and reindeer on a trip to reload on pellets for my slingshot.

 

Just got back from Maryland. Found a sport talk station out of Baltimore but reception was shaky. The host and his guest were really going off on the Steelers. They take a caller and first thing the guy says is, "what about the 1-7 record against them dating back to 2020." I had trouble making out what they said to him but they started yelling at him and hung up on him. Guy could have been a Raven fan just making a statement about it but these hard asses did not want to hear about that. Then they said, "typical Steeler fan". No idea what that means??

 

Trust me there is plenty to complain about. If this team puts it together like the 76 team before Rocky and Franco got injured then maybe I can be more confident.
