    1. Great, hard fought win

    2. Broderick Jones needs to make a gut check

    3. Unfortunate that Jaylen Warren fumbled when he did, because Washington was not prepared for his burst

    4. George Pickens is a monster

    5. Joey Porter better realize that refs are looking at him closely now

    6. Leave it to TJ Watt to make his presence felt when we need it most

    7. Patrick Queen was all over the field

    8. That fake punt attempt was the only reason this game became a cardiac fest

    9. Cam Hayward came up big once again

    10. Hope Highsmith doesn't miss any time

    11. Way to introduce yourself to your new fan base Mike Williams

    12. Good job by Russell Wilson for not being gun shy after throwing his first pick

    13. I strongly believe that seeing Lamar Jackson twice a yr went a long way towards our containment of Jayden Daniels

    14. Despite the fake punt, our special teams were pretty special

    15. While I love Boswell, it was great seeing the offense getting into the end zone rather than settling for fg's

    Good point #13.

#15, Boz told the team he only had extra points in him today so they best score 6.

I will add that Steelers fans absolutely took over DC today! The game had a playoff feel to it.

    Top rope analysis again blackandgoldpatrol

    Damn i'm fired up!

I would add a thanks to the Rath of Khan who brought in Mike Williams and Preston Smith who both contributed. And were had for peanuts.

What a gutty performance. Not pretty but got the job done when it counted.

    5) Rough day for JPJ. Your right they are looking closer and he needs to clean up being to grabby.

    10) Unfortunately left on crutches.

Pierre who has had his bad monents, and had yet another, made up for it when needed. This team showed some grit today, been awhile and it seems to be building. Great ugly win on the road.

I agree with all you BlackabdGold Patrol. I would however go further with Porter and say he needs more training on how to cover his man. When he does it is usually a penalty and when he doesn’t it’s like he is not even close to his guy.

Washington is 3rd in points scored and yards. Still held them to under 30 so not bad. Watt had 0 across the board but he’s always accounted for.

if we had an O line we would be a sb team, Wilson is way better than fields.

    # 7 such an unnecessary risk and you see how things can go wrong even when drawn up well. Could have cost them the game.

#13 I wasn’t worried about Daniels because of this. They normally do a good job containing those QB’s.

This is a pretty solid team top to bottom, this was a great win today. Feeling good about the rest of these upcoming games! :steelflag:

I will add that despite JPJ's struggles, he did do an excellent job of running down McLauren on that long catch and run

We beat a good team on the road today.

Steelers and Redskins are for real.

I think JPJ will bounce back next week. Hes too talented.

Keanu Benton had a big play on that last series. He made a tough one on one tackle on Daniels for only a one yard gain. If Daniels got by him Washington would have been close to FG range. Instead it put them at second and 9 and then our defense stopped them on fourth down.

    1. Yep. Got a win, on the road, against a good team...
    2. Thought he was fine today, IDK though. Wasn't paying as much attention to him
    3. Warren played great. The fumble was unfortunate. It looked like his forward progress was stopped (and Gene Steratore agreed), but the ball definitely came out before he was down. Outside of that it was a vintage Warren game.
    4. Yep, he's so good. Having a WR 2 opposite him will help a ton too. I want us to pay him.
    5. Yeah, he got a few flags. Didn't agree with some of them, but the refs were bad today.
    6. He got doubled and tripled all game. Made his presence known in the 4th quarter.
    7. He played a GREAT game. This is the guy we thought we were getting when we paid him. I hope he continues to play well.
    8. Eh, I don't necessarily agree. We struggled a bit out of the gate on offense. Washington is good. It was only a matter of time until they started moving the ball and scoring. It was just an adrenaline shot.
    9. Great game by him. Defies father time.
    10. He's going to. Sprain or a clean break. It looked pretty bad.
    11. Yeah haha what a great lone catch of the game.
    12. For sure. It definitely wasn't a strong game by him, but he came through when we needed him to.
    13. Definitely. My brother and I spoke about this prior to the game. It also helps that our defense competed against Fields all camp and at the beginning of the season. I would expect us to be good against mobile QB's this year.
    14. They've been great all year. The fake punt was great too, Pierre just dropped it. It should've been converted easily.
    15. Yes. This for sure. The offense was a lot better in the red zone, and it was one of the main reasons that we won this one.

It is a good thing we traded for him. Herbig will be back soon, so we should still have that 3 headed monster. Hope we get to see Highsmith again this year. That ankle injury didn't look good.

I agree 100%. There is no over selling how big that tackle was, or the one by Kazee and Minkah on Ertz on Washington's 4th down try.

Excellent analysis and will add just one.

    16. Its ok to run a slant occasionally, it seems to work for most teams and when we did it with Pickens it worked.

As for Highsmith, I think he comes back playoff time as I'm thinking minimally 5 weeks. On Warrens fumble I had just said to my son on the play before he was carrying the ball only with one hand when engaged on the tackle. Gotta know where you are and the situation, on the fumble play he just got a first down and fighting for the TD almost cost us. Sucked he hit the bench the rest of the way.

Joey Jr. better get his details down, he is playing sloppy. I hope he doesn’t feel like he has arrived and doesn’t need to put the work in anymore.

The more I see Broderick struggle, the more I am thinking … “How is Fautanu doing?” … real talk … LT job is Dan Moore’s without question.

Payton Wilson on the field way less today, I wonder if he got demoted? Not sure why though…Commanders were running free in the middle of the field, and Payton is the only guy who can run with them.

Russell Wilson is a field general. So glad he is here!

Offense needs to find more ways to work the middle of the field. Freiermuth is criminally underused.
