They are 2-6 and they still suck. Nothing to worry about. The Browns did not win because of their stellar play. They beat the ratbirds because Lamar and company played like sh it

Another great game for Jamarcus Richardson, 12-30 and a pick. All the while the league's leading passer Joe Flacco watches from the bench.

It was worse than that.... it was 10 of 32. I honestly think He is the worst Qb I've ever seen that was actually the starter. I don't know how they look their fans in the face.

Yeah I just saw that in the first half that he was 2-15. I have to go back decades to remember a worst QB, maybe Akili Smith or someone like that.

The Steelers are very capable of playing like ****. How many times have we seen it? There are no opponents that are nothing to worry about.

In this case, any NFL team can lose to anybody on any given Sunday.

Yea how they didn’t stick with Joe Flacco based on how he played the last few weeks makes zero sense. With Flacco they are a threat to maybe make the playoffs and contend for a wildcard spot with Richardson playing they have no chance to do any if that.

In every case, any NFL team can lose to anybody any given Sunday. It's why, no matter how dominant a team is, no one has gone undefeated since the Dolphins in 1972, an no one had done it before that.

Just look at Pickem and you have proof of that. I go for the favorites most the time and it's not working so well. After this week I'm letting a young family member pick next 8 weeks and if we tie last week for the tie breaker. He is really into the NFL so he'll probably whip my ass.

The Broncos are in the 7th seed right now, another example that you can make the playoffs even when you are very mediocre in this playoff format. The steelers make the playoffs twice in the last 3 seasons by being very mediocre for most of the time....Not a huge deal anymore to make the playoffs

It would take a complete and total collapse for the Steelers to not make the playoffs at this point. They are 3 games up in the loss column on the Bengals and Colts who are both 4-5. They are 2 games up in the loss column on Denver with the head to head tiebreaker. And a game up in the loss column on the Chargers with the head to head tiebreaker. If they go 4-5 in their last 9 games worst case scenario that would get them to 10 wins which is pretty much a lock at this point in the AFC to get in. Obviously the Steelers are looking for bigger things now in terms of still being right there for the AFC North title and the number 2 seed and even still having an outside shot to catch the Chiefs for the number one seed. But as far as making the playoffs goes the Steelers at this point barring a complete and total collapse are all but a mortal lock to make the playoffs in the AFC.

you mean the great "Tomlin Swoon" possibility?

anyone recall the wonderful end of season slide of 2009 (started 6-2), finished losing 5 of last 8 (5 in a row) that basically ended the season. last wins were meaningless.....that included that wonderful lay an egg game in Oakland....

and then the great FADE of a season, in 2018......started 7-2-1 (that LOVELY opening season TIE to the BROWNS!) and then 3 of 4 losses in NOV / DEC that basically ended our season.

Don't ever DISCOUNT what MIKE TOMLIN can do!!!!

some here would have said the same thing: "it would take a total collapse" - and total collapse, WE DID!!! one year was with a HOF defensive cast, the other with HOF offensive talent.

So 18 teams will tell You differently....., and as of right now .....We have no clue who will, and won't make the playoffs. Season is just halfway through.

And it will never happen again, especially with 17 game seasons.

"Can" is a huge word lol. I will say, that I will drink the kool aid when the Steelers beat a few quality teams! Until then, I'm skeptical!

    i am skeptical too.

I hope and wish and am excited, about the possibilities.......

i then recall all the crushing Tomlin failures over the years........

    it keeps me balanced
