"Russ with a little Tebow action there, one-hops it to the receiver."

Oh, here we go again. Just like the past 2 years all these QB analysis of wr's running wide open
and QB not seeing him. No thanks. They don't have a defensive player trying to end their careers
    chasing them.

Sorry to disagree. I guess you haven't seen any improvement in the offense with Wilson?

With Wilson the offense has been more fluid, looks like a competent unit that has breathed life since the Ben days. A field general who is battle tested. Fields is a nice back up, a gimmick who can run. Can't read defense's properly, can't scan the field for more then his first read, errant thrower, can't work under center with consistency and is skittish in the pocket. His shortcomings have not gotten better. Arthur Smith did a solid job of scaling down the offense so Fields could adapt with a conservative approach. With Wilson the playbook has opened up. And it will continue to the playoffs.

Please, every QB can miss wide open receivers...sure some QB are worse than others but it's easier to see the open receivers in front of a screen than on a football field!!!

The big knock on Russell in these last 2 videos I have seen is that he can't see the middle of the field. As he pointed out all of Russell's deep shots went to the outside.

The guy also says that this has been a problem for Russell his entire career, so it is probably not going to change. This would explain why Muth's numbers are down, compared to the WR's numbers that are up with those outside deep shots. Anyone waiting for Muth's numbers to explode in this offense is going to be waiting until the Steelers bring in another QB. Even TE Washington's big catch was to the outside of the field.

    Pretty simple.
We have scored over 25 points every game Russell Wilson has Played in.
Pretty simple. Before not so much.
An OL that everyone said sucks before....looks better with Wilson.
Wrs look better. Everything looks better.

I've been pleasantly surprised with Wilson thus far. I hadn't seen much of him the past couple of years so it was hard to know what to expect with the press, his age, etc. Sure he's got his flaws, but the offense has been clicking better in his two games under center.

Another thing I noticed in these clips, was how bad Ryan McCollum was getting his ass handed to him almost every play. I know it was against an All Pro, but this is completely different than all the praise I am seeing for Ryan around the Internet. I was watching the Ramon Foster show with DK, and people were suggesting that Ryan should continue to start when Frasier comes back???

After watching that QB video against the Giants, I will be glad when Frasier returns to the starting lineup.

LOL.... I think he used the phrase "Dump Trucked" when Ryan got lifted up and thrown down on his ass on a play. I am familiar with the O-Line term "Pancaked" when the Defender goes down, but I had never heard "Dump Trunk" before when the D-Line just blows up the offense. Ass bad as Kendrick Green was, I never saw him get "Dump Trucked" like Ryan did on that play.

Teams won't keep stacking the box with Wilson at QB, they have to respect the passing game down field.

Lawrence would've done the same to Frazier most likely.

We haven’t had a qb for years, including Ben’s last couple of seasons, that opposing teams respected
Already this is paying dividends in not only the pass game but also the running game.

I would stop to being so down on Fields if I was you since if he would been bad,Tomlin would been forced to play Wilson when he was not at 100% and it would not been good for his health in the long run.....Fields was much better that the trash the steelers had for most of the time in this position in the last 2 years

He was average for a starter standard...Not great but a team can win with him in the regular season and the team around him play good and he did protect the ball very well...ask the dolphins if they would loved to have him when Tua was out and they could not score over 10 points or so!

You are correct, Fields is a good backup most likely the Dolphins are still going to need a qb. I was talking to a Bills fan today, he wished they got Fields instead of Mitch… lol

Don’t have 8 guys on the LOS makes a world of difference… much easier to get to the second level

Kids been doing commendable, and Dexter Lawrence does make a lot of people look bad, but I'll be glad when Frasier is back.
How about when He, and Warren went for a ride. It was like Warren wasn't even there. LoL
