The also considered list is impressive......but hands down, this is a Beanie week.

 

Good job by Bishop he was struggling earlier in the season as teams were picking on him.

 

He made a play that flipped the momentum of the game. Then he did it again. Big time player yesterday.

 

Hey guy, S.T.D was worried about you. Put a thread up looking for you. Worried that nasty damn weather messed with you. As for me I missed the things you put up. Glad you are safe.

 

Was sure it was going to be Russell. First Steeler game and all that but agree Beanie.

 

How odd is it to watch a Football game at 3-4 in the morning? Many moons ago I lived in Hawaii and watched them at 8 AM.

 

It happens often in the past that I take a break from the forums during the season, so don't worry because it will surely not be the last time!

 

Good for the kid! Usually is on the other end of major criticism

 

It's normal to me. Especially with all these prime time games. It would actually feel stranger to watch football at 1pm in the afternoon.

 

Russell was great, but Bishop turned the game around by making a great play on that first interception. The Steelers could have easily been down, 22-6, at halftime. The second one was mostly luck. He was beaten pretty badly on the play, but he still got a hand up and was ready when it bounced back to him.

 

By far Beanie's best game. I hope this becomes a trend.

 

Great game. A little luck involved on the second INT. Just wish he could have gone into the end zone.

 

Beanie had some nice plays

He also had lousy coverage on some plays

One interception was a lucky bounce

Typically can't stand Collinsworth but he made a funny during the game after Beanie's 2nd INT - he said he used to search high and low for Beanie Baby's for his kids back in the day but now he found his favorite - Beanie Bishop.

This is reason enough to bring Beanie Copter hats back into the mix - to go along with Bobble Heads, Green Weenies and the Terrible Towel.

............and, of course, in Steeler colors. What do you think? Where's Myron when we need him? LOL.
