I thought maybe it was a done deal. What I find is non-committal. I'm not saying the info is wrong, just that I wish Tomlin had come out and said we are going with Russ this week. I'm really fine with either way it goes. Waiting on something definitive.

 

Keep the Jets guessing and have them prepare for both of them.

 

Tomlin is letting RW takes 1st team reps so this likely wont matter.

 

First team reps with a new Center. Most likely a done deal. Just maybe still watching the calf?

 

They will always be the redskins. Even a lot of Indians want the name back. It is a case of political correctness running crazy......imo

 

I think he plays for the reason you pointed out. New center and if you look at JF last two games they were less then complimentary. He has the legs but his throwing has been suspect.

Allen is 9-3 vs the Jets. So he’s had some success against them.

 

Russell Wilson has a career 124 passing rating against the Jets. Yeah. But last year he lost 31-21 to the Jets and threw for only 196 yards and sacked 4 times. Boo. The way Buffalo was running the ball against the Jets last week, I hope Fields is still used in the offense.

I don't see how who starts this week is going to make that big of a difference. If we win this week I believe it will come from defensive stops and off Boz's foot.

 

He did not play his worst in that game. The numbers reflect that.

The Jets are more vulnerable than many seem to think, but they still have a good defense. If not for the officials deciding to take over the game and both kickers sucking in the wind, the Bills would have done even more.

 

I hope that is the case. I'd hate to see Russ starting prior to the bye week. Very little to be gained.
