George Pickens played limited snaps due to discipline?

I think some of his teammates are tired of Pickens, the local media said Pickens would go sit on the bench in the Cowboys game then the players would immediately get up to get away from him.

 

If the offence could move, everyone would be happy especially the defence. Pickens eye message was lame to the team imo. "Always ****ing open" other ppls messages were for a cause. Defs need more offense/passing calls before our great D wears down.

 

Who’s rewarding? as my high school coach would say, “run his a$$ off”.
Again, there’s more than one way to discipline.

 

Problem with that, is the way Pickens is running, his ass is really half assed.

I really don't want Adams, he is 32 years old and supposedly has a bad hamstring. It would take a high draft pick to get him so I think we should just play out the season, win 8 or 9 games and keep the draft picks for next season.

 

Weren't you talking about trying to fix things by Pickens the ball more? If they force things in his direction in response to him pouting and dogging it on some of his routes, that is rewarding poor behavior.

I don't think You have to force anything. Just actually make the throws when they are there. I posted a video that shows some of what I'm talking about. He is having the same reaction as DJ was last year. They know the Qb is part of the problem...., and there is nothing they can do about it.

Frankly, his talent is being wasted with the Steelers. He could be a Randy Moss (or lesser version of Moss) if he was in an offense that actually tried to run up the score.

Understood, and they’re addressing all of the young man’s issues. OC draw up the plays to get him involved. He’s not the best receiver in the league but I’ve never seen talent like his for contested catches. He’s always around the first down marker, just inside the sidelines, or goal line. Something other receivers seem to have a problem with. Ok, Get him the ball, run em!
