I said both Justin Fields and the Head Coach are not good enough. I don't think Fields is the future of this franchise. Maybe a better offensive minded head coach could get more out of him, but he isn't winning a Superbowl.

Take all the money were spending on Defense and put a couple more All Pros on the offensive side of the ball and I would agree with that statement. If the offense has done as good a job as the defense for the first 59minutes, there would have been no last drive by the Cowboys. Correct?

Hot Dog Tomlin had his best years just being the head coach. HOFer the great Dick LeBeau calling the shots on defense. He had a down year and was shown the door. Tomlin couldn't wait to let him go to implement his scheme. And here we sit. He has to much power. Art II's fault.

Flores would have been great. If he brought in his scheme.

Tomlin also micro manages the offense now. Outdated. Like him...

We aren’t top 3 in yards allowed anymore. We may be in points allowed. Were average in sacks and in pressure rate. That’s where are defense lives and what it was built for. They need to rush more than four guys if we can’t generate pressure with just four especially being down to our fourth OLB.

 

Actually we blitz about 20% of the game, and we are still tied for number 1 in points allowed.....the most important Defensive stat period.

 

i could see both those guys questioning Tomlin. So Tomlin, not being the kind of guy who likes a debate or conversation would want yes men. This happens all the time in all areas of work. You have bosses comfortable in their own skin who value others opinions and bosses who are insecure and want yes men (or women).

 

No, its Tomlin's fault!!! You either live in your fears or accept that your too afraid to win or lose throwing your best punch! Tomlin's soft zone is getting destroyed up the middle and that was evident well before the Dallas game. I think the stat was 51 of 57 completions against our defense over the middle of the field. Trust me, they all know this, Dak attacked the middle of the field, hell, Flacco destroyed us down the middle......this is all on Tomlin!!!! If Austin is the DC, let him speak to it, but you will never see Austin utter a word because Tomlin calls the defense....prove me wrong!
