I have a confession. The 3 weeks that the Steelers won. The night before I cooked something in my slow cooker. Well last week, I decided not to and we lost.

Tonight I will be throwing some chili in the slow cooker.

 

And to think posters here were blaming Tomlin

I will take half the blame, but @STD has to take the other half, He started the Game Day Post.

 

My wife and I are doing a bike trip earlier in the day Sunday, so by the time we get back, we probably won't have time to cook or grill anything before the game, so we'll likely just order pizza or grab tacos/burritos this week.

 

I actually grow Kung Pao peppers just to make this dish

 

is it Cajun, Creole, Louisianan, Arkansauce, or Philadelphian?

Then I met and married a lady from New Mexico who’s father owned a New Mexican restaurant and my taste buds evolved

Have a chili cooking right now. I turned on the crock pot this morning and then went out and played some golf. Just got home and realized I forgot to plug it in lol.
Oh well, it will still be ready tonight just not as early as I hoped. It will be even better tomorrow.

Secret ingredients: Bakers chocolate, parmesan rind and ketchup. Those 3 things in chili will change your life.

 

COOL. I always wanted an oven that had racks that spun into a vertical position too.

 

so it's your fault. we will have to defer to TTF and the site office for further fines and possible suspensions.

 

Family is joining us for dinner tonight, so we will do some different things on the grill.

We will probably grill salmon, steak, bbq chicken, and some lobster tails. We have four kids and someone made the mistake of introducing one of my younger kids to lobster. He thinks it is something he should have weekly - lol.

I used to do work in the Boston area and its a 16 minute drive to Winthrop from Boston. Two restaurants there are Cafe Valenciano and D'Parma which are both excellent. BYOB though. There are liquor stores right in town one right down the street from D'Parma.

 

Nice thick NY Strip grilled mid rare, baked potato with chives, sour cream and of course butta, string beans in marinara sauce with fresh basil.

For desert some Dak Sacks made by Chef TJ Watt.

yea probably a low fine. probation possibly. yea we are going the chili route as well. may throw in some hot dogs and put some of the said chili on them as well.
