You were saying Giants didn’t guarantee Wilson starting job, yes I know they didnt compete.
I just retorted, pretty bad if Wilson couldn’t beat out Jones if they did compete.
And yes constantly is a lil extreme, but come on at least once a game is not good.

Because they really don’t have solid QB play at this point. At any rate this conversation is a waste of time. The Jets can trade them Hassan Reddick which they need and Adams wants to go to the Jets. It just makes too much sense.

It is not good, but it can be corrected.

Just because Wilson doesn't want to have to compete doesn't mean he couldn't beat Jones out.

Except the Jets have already invested quite a bit at the receiver position and I'm not sure Reddick will be enough.

But it is more than we can give them. Rumor is SF and Baltimore are interested. SF can give them Aiyuk, I don’t know what Baltimore would give them.

if Baltimore got him it’s over, I don’t know how you stop that offense. They would have to be the favorite to go to the SB.

No, I get that there could be gamesmanship going on. But for what it's worth at least one source claims he is legitimately injured. This is from the Pittsburgh Tribune Review this morning.

Many are wondering if this is a ploy by the Raiders, Adams’ camp or both to protect him so he doesn’t suffer a significant injury before the Nov. 5 trade deadline. But The Athletic’s Dianna Russini insists that she has been told that the injury is “real” and that he may miss this week’s game and next week’s when the Raiders host the Steelers.

Now, I'm not familiar with Dianna Russini and whether she has access to "sources" that would know for sure whether he is hurt and furthermore, whether they would trust her enough to share that information.

I don't know that any of this matters. I don't think the Steelers are willing to give up a 2nd plus for a 31-year-old (32 Christmas Eve) who comes with a big cap number and may or may not be injured. I think they are just kicking tires.

The Steelers clearly need a WR2, but I'm not sure Adams is the right fit. He's 32, has a bad hammy and makes a ridiculous amount of money over the next two seasons. Without the Raiders eating some money, he'd be a partial-year rental. And if the Raiders are eating money they'll be asking for more in a trade.

I was ok with the price for Aiyuk, who was a lot younger. I wouldn't be ok with a 2nd+ for Adams. Let him go to the Jets.

Adams is 31 and his hamstring is expected to keep him for another 1-2 weeks, he has no guaranteed money left on his contract the next two years.

Baltimore would love to stick it to us and get better at the same time. It is such a Baltimore move.

Ok he's technically on old 31. He's 32 in December.

I'm still not giving up a 2nd+ for half a season of Adams.

By trading for him, you're basically saying it's SB or bust for this team. And I don't see the Steelers as a SB contender with or without Adams. It's just a waste of resources.

GUN to his head with 3 of 4. Frazier would have rotted, Fautanu was not starting. McCormick - forced due to INJURY

    YOU made my POINT!!!

Well, if they traded for Adams and he played well they would probably restructure his contract to keep him around.
