Doesn’t Adams have $35 million salaries the next 2 seasons? He’d be a 1 year rental.

I dont know if it would take a 2nd, 31 years old and not what he used to be but still a solid WR. Hopefully something like you said, 3rd and 5th if they try for him.

Probably doesnt mean anything but fun to speculate. Would be a good upgrade to the WR room.

It would be cool to put Davante Adams in this offence but at the end of the day this team isn’t a WR away from being postseason relevant, he is also older and his contract situation is messy.

There is a case for trading for a veteran receiver to try to find more balance on offence but Adam’s doesn’t really make sense for the Steelers

The Steelers need upgrades with good players. The reason they needed Aiyuk is the same reason they need Adams.

CP out there recruiting Adams :lolol:

Sounds like he is definitely on the way out though. Destination unknown.

Well He is right about certain Qbs. Wrs don't like to play with. Look at Lamar Jackson.....Jes won multiple MVPS.....even though He only deserved one of them......anyways....back to the subject.....they have a very hard time bringing in free agent Wrs.....not have I read this, but I've heard Harbaugh say it himself. He didn't say why, but most know why.

I think he has two years left on his current deal, if I traded for him I wouldn't give him a new deal.

You aren't likely to find a starting OL on the trade market though, if you can improve your team by getting a legit starting WR you do it.

Or his contract could be restructured to kick the can down the road.

I hope the Raiders don't trade Adams to the Jets or Chiefs.

He was an All-Pro just two seasons ago and he caught 103 passes for 1,144 yards on a team with that was a jumbled mess at quarterback in 2023. Maybe he has slipped a tiny bit, but the guy can still play. I doubt a 3 and a 5 is going to get it done.

It's possible the Jets will panic and do something stupid, but with Wilson, Williams and Lazard, wide receiver isn't their problem.

I personally still wouldn't mind having D.K. Metcalf. That said, I had given up on that way back during the early days of Training Camp. Maybe Christian Watson for the right price?!

He has currently his lowest snap output at 46% per Pro Football Reference. Maybe a new change of scenery would benefit him. That said though, this also isn't likely to happen barring something unforeseen.

That’s fine in theory but he will hold out next offseason. He will at the very least want a lot of the money guaranteed, at 32

Why not ask for Justin Jefferson while you are at it? Metcalf was never available. I doubt Watson is, either. Those teams are contenders. They aren't weakening their receiving corps for draft picks right now.

What makes him think Wilson looks better to the Titans than Rudolph right now? Wilson can't even get on the field and the Titans just won big with Rudolph coming on in relief. I don't think he did much other than not step on his own you-know-what as much as Levis does and it helped a lot that the Dolphins are a mess without Tagovailoa, but that move makes little sense for Tennessee. The only logical argument for this trade is, "Maybe the Titans are stupid."

No I’m not saying try to get an OL I’m saying don’t waste draft capital on a WR this year it’s not going to matter. We are one more injury away from the OL starting practice squad level players. And that is already including McCormick starting. We’re Fed

But you want to complain about not winning in the playoffs daily, getting Adams improves your chances of going further rather than standing pat. Fautanu could return for the playoffs if they make it.
