Royals are in for the first time since the 2025 WS run. Go Royals!!

What are the details of a contest?

Hang in there. I think it won't start until Wednesday. KC Royals were the talk of the Pirate message board I'm on. Small market like the Burgh. Sucked balls last season, losing over 100. Then their owner makes the moves. F U NUTTING for not doing this. No decent player in their right mind will come to Pittsburgh as long as that Ahole owns the team.

And stop predicting next season;) "2025":)

The Braves have the most fun finish possibility I think. Double header with the Mets to decide who gets to play in the wildcard round the next day.

We'll do it round by round. Once the Wild Card Round is set, off we'll go. It will be very simple, just make your choice who wins each series. I'll keep tally of everyone's record as the post season moves along.

Not much interest but I'll do for poop and giggles.

Funny thing is that if they would secretly collude to split that double-header they both get in and screw the D-Backs. As a Phillies fan this is really a no-win situation since I hate the Braves and the Mets, and because of last year I'm also bitter against the D-Backs for crushing my dreams last year.

I do have to say that with all the injuries the Braves have had this year it would be pretty damn impressive for them to make the playoffs. They lost their best pitcher and best position player for virtually the entire season.

I thought that too. D-Back fans are going to be nervous today. Braves up early in game 1.

Mets go ahead in 8th. I changed my mind. I want either the Braves or Mets out. Sweep it is.

Hell of a game. Since the Braves still haunt me a bit I'm glad they lost. Arizona must be sweating balls. Mets have no need to win unless it means someone who they would rather face.

I'm thinking this is a first. 2 MLB teams celebrated making the Playoffs on the same day on the same field.

Padres had good pitching last night.
Tatis jr. is a hot dog. Hits a homerun and flips his bat and just watches it go out. Surprised no one hasn't thrown at his head! It's an awful big target!
Thought I was watching a Steelers game with all those fans twirling yellow towels!

Michael King was overpowering. You're right about Tatis, Jr. Had he done that against just about any pitcher in the 70s, for example, "The Mad Hungarian" Al Hrabosky, he would have gotten mowed down his next at bat for sure.

What an advantage being a higher seed in WC round. You have home field advantage the entire series.

Pirates last glory was when it was one and done. Michael Keaton was in the crowd that game. He needs to bring Beetlejuice to Nutting's house.

The city of Baltimore sure has trouble winning Playoff games.
