Maybe the anonymous Steeler was not a player.............(I think it was a reporter trying to start a story by stating the obvious and saying it was an anonymous Steeler)
But any who i forgot this story till i seen someone re post it .....

    http://triblive.com/sports/-topstor...es-lot-player-camp-goals-lamarr#axzz2LM8l8YsI

It's crazy our 2 most talented players on D don't put in the work required to keep them on the field playing at a high level....
Could you imagine how good the would be playing if Troy would listen to IKE and go train with Shaw down in FLA.? Or Lammar trained like Harrison or Ziggy....
Funny how the guy's who work there asses off stay on the field for the most part guy's like Ike,Ziggy,Clark....
Maybe Tomlin needs to tell these guy you come in out of shape YOUR NOT PLAYING......Didn't Cower do it with Hampton?
Our Conditioning sux..Our stud S looks like a LB and can't run with out pulling a calf.....Our stud LB looks like a NT and cant run without pulling his HAMmy.....Our young RB after 3 plays is taping himself on the head so much the Dr's have to give him concussion test's..............The Rooney's said they were gonna look into our strength an conditioning program and we haven't heard a thing since....Changes gotta be made i would say.....

not to mention two guys tying up alot of the teams money. good post bristerfan. jeeeezz i can't believe someone actually has that as a name? shoot!! LOL just kidding.
butler is his coach, he should have been ridin his arse all year about it. heck, i've sent players over to work out for a day with the NT's because of weight. it was all in fun but everyone got the message.

i don't know how many people caught it, but during the 2nd round of the playoffs i think it was. one of the commentators mentioned about a team being in such good shape. they panned their O-linemen and every guy there looked lean strong and mean. no guts hanging over the belts, muscle definition, and looked like they could move.

he said good teams don't get to this point without being in shape. it is the truth. if you desire to get to the top, you should desire to put in the work to get there.

i've got a feeling our O-line not having our old vets still here, will completely change this lines outlook and tenacity to workout. they are all young and let them do their thing without watching the laziness of the out of shape vets that were or are here.

i see alot of changes around here with younger players going to have to step to the front quickly. we don't have money for others. there are spots open and backup spots open. that makes players hungry to grab those jobs. a hungry player will get in shape. we could see some new stars born this year. or at least get our vets hungry again. happy, happy, happy.

Larry Foote Doesn't Think A Player Called Out Woodley

Larry Foote was on The Fan this morning and said that he didn't think someone on the team would "call out" Woodley publicly. He said he'd be "very surprised" if it actually was a player that said what was said here, and it goes against the 'code' to speak out to the media like that. He said he wouldn't be surprised if one of the coaches put that out there and used the 'anonymous tag'. He went on to say Woodley just had bad luck last year, in regards to being injured.

You can listen to the interview here: http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2013/02/19/larry-foote-discusses-locker-room-controversy/

I don't see what the big fuss is all about if a player happened to call out Woodley or any other player for that matter. Maybe if the truth gets told about some of these players that they will step up and play at a higher level the next time they have the opportunity.
I'll go ahead and call out Troy for not spending enough time in the gym and really participating in commercials. Get back to the job that the organization is paying you for. The last thing I want to see is him portraying Duece Staley on the sidelines in sweats for half a season.
If players today are worried about what other players think about them then they are not in the mindset to be on the team anyways.
Is the NFL now becoming Romper Room? Grow up and get to work. It's too bad if a grown up gets his little feelings hurt. I guess we need to give them all trophies for just participating.

I think that would be a counter-productive thing for a coach to do. Why would a coach want to arouse suspicion among teammates? Besides, Butler has said things before to the press impying that Woodley may be out of shape. I don't think he'd have a problem saying it again and putting his name on it, probably after he said it to Woodley.

So apparently Butler has been riding Woodley for quite some time now and yet Woodley doesn't seem to be getting the picture. At what point does Tomlin keep his word and bench these players that come into camp fat and out of shape. He said they wouldn't play if they came in out of shape and he didn't back it up. Time for Tomlin to show he is in control of this team because things haven't looked good the last 2 years.

I can see both sides to it. As a general rule of leadership, you praise publicly and criticize privately. However . . . Maybe Butler's words behind closed doors fell on deaf ears. Since LaMarr seems to have more of an affinity for social media these days than the gridiron or the weight room, maybe the best way to challenge/motivate LaMarr is to put it out there for the world to see. Accurate or not, with his production down following an injury-prone season, perhaps the best way to put a fire under the guy is to tell the world LaMarr's production ain't up to snuff.

    I don't have a problem with it.

    Let's see how #56 responds.

I thought Everybody loved Bubby.....He was a hammerhead who loved to play football and played hard..was like a Linebacker who played QB..Plus with the $$ from his contract he bought his mom a Cadillac outfitted in Steelers colors. Ya gotta love that! Wish some of the guy's we had now were as dedicated to playing hard a Bubby!

Lets hope there is ATLEAST 2 more firings.
And Coach Cliche lays down the law that everybody be in TIP TOP
shape coming into camp. If they are not in shape, there will be
repurcussions. As in we will ship your AZZ outa here.

Locker room chemistry is a very important and touchy thing. Our locker room has been great forever, and it's one of the reasons that we've been so successful. Look at the Jets. Santonio Holmes has publicly called out several teammates and it causes this back and forth situation in the media that's just a distraction.

I think anyone that's played organized sports would understand there needs to be a certain degree of trust between teammates.

    Yo Tomlin
So I shouldn't expect Heath Miller to come into camp and ask what everybody did over the break.
Troy - Still lifting those 20 lb. weights and selling your hair products?
Woodley - See you're still hanging out with Big Snack.
Casey - My dog went missing, why you picking your teeth?
Hey Ben ole Buddy. Got junior riding that motorcycle yet and full college fund to Penthouse University?
Yo Tomlin - Put down that dictionary. Professionalism is a microcosm of individualism maturism.
Ike - Learn to catch yet?
Pounce - I got a new pack of magic markers. Come see me and I'll add 3 hypocycloids to your collection.
James - Did Roger call ya yet? He told me you owe him 25 grand for the upcoming season.
Hey Adams - I told you to stay away from Plax. You guys wreak like Spicolli in Mr. Hand's class.
Hey Burress did you do any hunting this year. I got a couple calfs out on the ranch that would probably taste good.
Byron - What's you doing here?
Cameron - I see Casey showed you where Dunking Donuts is located.
Good day Mr. Rooney. I heard the fans want to take over the team. Any truth to that?
