    One of the great backs of the 70's with maybe the coolest nickname ever. RIP #22. Pittsburgh native, played high school ball at Avonworth. Real name, Eugene.

    Larry Csonka was one of the most intimidating, menacing runners ever. He didn't try to avoid contact. He looked to punish opposing defenses.

    Mercury's nickname was well earned. His legs looked like they moved at a different speed than everyone else's.
