Just took my wife to her first game and was wondering is there a way to get tickets cheaper or at cost. The site I bought them from charged an arm and a leg.

    Thanks

My daughter got me tickets to the Steelers Vs. Colts game for $40 a piece. In this day and age that is completely unheard of. I questioned it with her and even made sure they were not counterfeit. They came from a coworker who couldn’t attend the game. They were going to sell them for way more but asked her since they are real good friends. She told them if she called that I would straight buy them right away which I did. Please keep in mind that this is unheard of in this day and age. I lucked out. I haven’t been able to get tickets for a Steelers game that cheap in over 20 years. My only advice is going to an away game where the team has no playoff chance and you should be able to get tickets a lot cheaper than face value.

I’ve never done this, but have wondered, if you go to Pittsburgh and buy tickets on one of the ticket platforms, does it get cheaper as the game approaches?

I miss the good old days of just walking around the stadium prior to game time and negotiating with scalpers.

I've sold tickets for some games at face value or even below face value depending on the opponent. I transfer them directly from my Steelers season ticket account and accepted payment via Venmo. It's really easy and none of those ridiculous fees.

I went to the Steelers @ Broncos game with my son who lives in Denver and I checked Ticketmaster, Seatgeek and Stubhub and Ticketmaster had the best price but still ridiculous fees. I went to a game at Nebraska and Oklahoma on my drive to and from his place and bought one on Seatgeek and Stubhub.

I have four seats together in section 521 row W and a lot of people don't like being up that high and I get that but you can see the plays develop nicely up there.
