Idk who it was, but I think they have the right to call him out, but they should have said it to him privately first. And for all we know, maybe they did tell him to his face. But this is now basically twice he's been called out because Tom Shaw offering his services to Woodley is kind of saying "hey man, whatever you are doing is not working, and I can fix that." It could have been Ike, maybe Ike told Shaw to reach out to Woodley, and when Woodley rejected, maybe Ike got mad and went to the media.

This is where Tomlin needs to step in and gain control of this team. They will never win as a team, if they don't act like one. We are starting to see the signs of a team lacking leadership. Someone needs to step up.

We don't technically know that this didn't happen. He may have done this after last year and with no changes finally went public with it. Who knows.

If we've got guys "watching woodley naked in the locker room" then we've got bigger problems than we thought.

This has been my concern with him. I met him at a Steelers charity event a few years ago and he seemed quite immature. I remember being surprised at how young he seemed.

The way he has taken to Facebook surprises me even more. He seems to revel in his celebrity status. Posting things a high school kid would post. I can't imagine Jack Lambert even opening a Facebook account.

I think that Clark talking about it on NFL network was exactly what was needed - a vocal leader of the defense stepping up and telling the anonymous teammate that what he did is not cool, and that he needs to watch his mouth. This will blow over and be a non-issue in a week or two.

Someone else needs to take their towel off and whip him with it until he realizes that he plays football for a living, and is not some tv star.

No... someone needs to remind him of how he became a celebrity in the first place, and what he has to do if he wants to remain one

It's about time somebody called out Woodley

The coaching staff can't get him to show up in shape maybe having a teammate question his effort will motivate him for next season. I know you don't want players talking about their teammates without putting their name behind it like the Jets do, but Woodley is the highest paid player on defense and I'm sure some of his teammates are pissed off at his performance since he got that big contract. At least he is working out now in Arizona he needs to spend less time on Twitter and Facebook and more time on the treadmill.

Sometimes things don't work out the way you want them
too, you try to cut your losses and move on. It is time we move on from Lamaar,
Mendy and Wallace. That is just the way it is. Lets see if we can move him?
I am sure Omar Kahn knows all the numbers he needs to know to lessen the Steelers
losses. Lets get someone in here who wants to play.

Woodley won't be traded, the Steelers can't afford the cap hit. You can keep saying it, but it just make you look...............

I think injuries played a bigger part in Woodley's drop in production last year. Plus he was facing a lot more blocking than previously due to the fact that Harrison was hurt as well. A healthy Woodley will be an improvement. You can blame condtioning all you want, you can be the most conditoned athelete in the world and if you have a bad ankle sprain it can bother you all season.

Steely McBeam reacts to Woodley being called out, and anonymous players calling him out as well.

    Don't attack before you read.

He got lazy and complacant. Woodley was garbage last year on the scale of which he has played. It's a different scale but herat me out. Let's say you're making 10 dollars and hour knowing you are busting your ass and preforming at 25 an hour. You'd be pissed. He bit his tongue.

Let fast forward, you got your raise. Now your making 30 an hour. Now your mmaking to your performance. Wouldn't you drop a little?

We all have a tendency for laziness. The greats don't never drop off but Woodley will never be great. He is, instead, on a scale of Greene, lloyd, and other unsung olbs of the steelers. There is plenty that will not make it into the HOF because of the spectacle they didn't create. Yet, they where gret in the time and scheme. Woodley isn't a HOFer he is a great spot for now.
ive loved his play but wouldn't you drop off just a bit. The NFL scale is VERY small.

Are you Omar Kahn, Art Rooney, Kevin Colbert? They can trade anybody they want to
it is the Rooney's money. If they choose to take a cap hit it is there choice. Your comments
make you look. Well. Stick to your baseball out there in Missouri.

I sure hope with all this talk of Woodley being out of shape last that he somehow gets the picture and does something this off season.

I also find it amazing how many people thought the Steelers were in good physical shape last year, and that their injuries were normal.
