I think we cut Keisel :???: and Colon maybe even Deebo..and we bring back Lewis and draft a LB in the 1st round....

I think your right and if they let Lewis go then it's true what they say about the organization and front office

Keisel and Silverback are indeed on the bubble.. Personally I would keep Deebs and let Keisel go but then I am not front office and would never want to make that decision. I think its unrealistic to think they keep both...

Well I just was thinking that if they let Casey go then give it to MCClendon and he goes on to be really good it will be because of an offseason move. So I thought that was within the realm of what the OP was about anyway since this is really about prediction. Also me and JackAttack are very good friends and I don't think he would care if JUST THIS ONCE we shook it up and got a TAD bit off of what the OP MIGHT have intended. Can you forgive me Jack? As far as MCClendon and the PB I don't care about the PB as an individual game but I like for Steelers to be voted to it none the less.

Lets try this hypothetical, release Hampton, Kiesel, Troy. restructure contracts Oh lets say Ike
and Ben.Sign Keenan Lewis. Let Wallace and Mendy go to the highest bidder.Trade Lamaar Woodley
Move James Harrison inside. Draft 3 new starters at the Safety position,
RB position and Rolb. Hows this for an off season?

I think they let Colbert go. He can't draft in the later rounds!

Move Harrison inside and watch how many people start crying about our linebackers getting burned by tight ends. The man ran like a 4.9 40 ten years ago.

Well if we are gonna go with hypotheticals, i think they sign alex smith, trade ben to arizona for patrick peterson and their number one pick. Then they can still go about cutting all the old dead weight and get way under the cap for next year when it goes way up and have all kinds of room.

I think 95% of folks would be shocked if we DID bring Hampton back.... The key is to keep McClendon. He's a RFA with no draft pick compensation unless we tender him at a high rate.

I'm actually going to agree with re-signing Mendy as our most surprising offseason move. I don't think other teams will be throwing big dollars his way, and he may stay here under a 1 year "prove it" contract.

Harrison = gone. His play has dropped off and back problems = later alligator. Heck, he even made some statement about not expecting to be back.

Woodley isn't going anywhere, Polamalu is going to get one more year to prove his worth, Hampton and Keisel both played well enough to stay on the roster for another year and provide depth (can't have too many quality DL). I don't know that the drunken NT who sucked in Latrobe last year is ready to step in in one of the most important positions on the roster (NT in a 3-4 -- better think twice before pushing Hampton's big butt out the door).

Mendenhall is a problem child and will be gone. Wallace is a diva and played himself out of a big-time contract. He's gone too.

i think with fangupo being here we are plenty set at NT without casey. i'd expect an udfa to be here in camp to look at too. i'd spend the money on lewis first. we got our investment out of casey, we need our investment out of lewis. we have 4 years in him and now he's shown capable, we release him to the rest of the league?? no way.

I think what he's trying to say is this:
Hampton was limited in the role that he played with the Steelers last year and he's not getting any younger. He was primarily in on running downs. McClendon then stepped in and did an admirable job on passing downs. He seemed to perform every time he got an opportunity and really deserves to get a shot at the starting NT position in 2013.

:this!: I agree have timmons cover the tight ends. I still like Harrison on the inside better then foote. Then give Worilds a shot on the inside.

Harrison looked fast to me during the Super Bowl interception return of 90+ yards.
