they can play. Smacked the Dirty Birds in the mouth. Shaky that first drive, got it together quickly,

suffocating in the 2nd half!

I don't think the steelers defense had a better game that this in 2023....The falcons could not move the ball at all in the second half!

D should be good. And it may not have a choice.

 

Robinson was the only offense of the falcons in the first half....When they contain him in the second half,it was over for the falcons offense!

Hopefully they find some consistency on offence and start to help them out a bit more

 

Problem is if our Offense doesn’t score TDs, our Defense will be gassed by game 5 or 6. Defense cannot play 60-65% of snaps every game.

 

It was not the case today.....The defense were on the field for only 24 minutes.....True that the offense need to score more TD!

 

most of us said the sched favored us to start slow.

We all need to start talking about how Chris Boswell is up there with T.J. Watt in terms of both performance and importance.


Dude has been money since becoming a Steeler. Only T.J. Watt has had more impact... for obvious reasons. Still, the impact that Boswell has on games is unreal.

 

I don’t worry bout our D that’s who we are. They’re our offense when it hits the fan.

Offense had 58% on TOP, 35 minutes to 25 minutes. 71 plays to 48 (77 to 49 if you count fg attempts). Only 2 3-and-outs.
I know we didn't score TDs, but the offense had long drive after long drive and kept the D rested.

In a world without Justin Tucker, I can make the argument that Chris Boswell is the best kicker of his generation. Harrison Butker from Kansas City also has a rock solid claim but no other Kicker has been more impactful for their team than Boz.

agreed. When he had an off year, the team take less salary, or we might go another direction. He did, responded, and got a nice payday. The kicking conditions at our stadium are not always the best either, definitely a huge part of this team.

 

The defense could have a monster game again next week....
