Fox early game with much more coverage than I thought there would be. Including Alaska and Hawaii - looks like about 2/3rds - 3/4ths of US will get to see it live. Steelers game is the reddish brown shading. (This is where the cost per game starts to go up for all the You-Tubers with Sunday Ticket.) Not sure how You-Tube works but I enjoyed the interactive on-screen stats that DTV had with Sunday Ticket. Enjoy - lots of injuries on offense though.

PS - for those interested in the other games and time slots - here's the full link to all games https://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2024&wk=1

Back in the day when I used to head to the Steeler bars to watch the games (before NFL+ or Sunday Ticket), it was rough out here on the left coast since you had to get to the bar by around 9am Sunday morning to get a table/seat for the 10am kickoff and they were still cleaning up from the wild Saturday night crowd and tossing drunks in the dumpsters. :drinks:

Agree - that was always my preference when I had DTV vs local broadcasts that were subject to late starts/early exits due to other TV game obligations. Really played havoc when DVR-ing a game that switched between local broadcast and Sunday Ticket or vice-versa. Regards to Glemm.

Ugh. Tennessee at Chicago. I have to decide between going to the Steelers bar where the stools suck (no backs), or to Buffalo Wild Wings where the food sucks.

We'll keep spoilers to a minimum for you but I may be in the same boat unless I can find one of my streaming apps that includes Fox TV out of LA for a live view. I don't really understand the TV map being so heavy for the Steelers-Falcons unless they feel that there are still a lot of Wilson fans west of the Mississippi from Seattle and Denver.

Eat ahead of time or sneak in your food but always go for comfort and then nurse a soda for 3 hours.

Its funny, Columbia, SC had a chance to have Panthers play here in their first season but refused. But they are on tv every week here.:puking 3:
I also understand its a regional issue.

I have Steelers on and during commercials I'll switch to NE/Bengals. For once I'll be pulling hard for the Pats.

I won't be switching, but I do the same every week. Like this week...I'm rooting for the Steelers, Cowboys, KC, and the Pats. Of Course next week will be different

Didnt expect, cant remember the last time the falcons had a televised regular season game on the west coast not involving one of the west coast teams.

do we have to go back to the jerry glanville - neon deion days?

I’m no fan (so far) of Russell Wilson, but I sure am glad that Schlareth isn’t calling our game. He HATES Russell Wilson with a passion and supposedly drags him daily on his radio show.

I’ve heard that kind of biased against the Steelers play by play stuff from Phil Simms years ago and HATED when he was assigned our games.

People say that about Chris Collensworth, but I only thought that a VERY long time ago. Once we got Ben and playing at a high level I feel like he spoke mostly respectfully of our Steelers.

Sportscasters though, there are PLENTY of haters.

I like YTube TV as well except for the fact it’s about a minute behind cable during a live game.

Collinsworth was fine in the Roethlisberger era. He got over his Bengal bias.

Schlereth talks like his mouth is full of marbles... almost as bad as listening to that female announcer a few years back.... yoi.

A hard job but someone has to do it

I’ve been on both sides of that equation

In Chicago the bars would clear out and we would all walk down to the lakefront to watch the sun rise over Lake Michigan

One bar closed from 6 am to 7 am just to clean
