Steelers OL vs Ravens OL

looking at the Ravens OL, the only guy that really stands out is Yada. Others are either old (Birk), rejects (Mckinnie) or unknowns. But they did a heck of a job holding off the 49ers defensive front. Steelers OL is made up of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks which supposed to look good. I think a good OL coach is a must and hope the new dude will be good.

 

osemele and oher are pretty good too

 

Birk and Mckinnie kind of remind me of having Jeff Hartings and Flozelle Adams at the end of their careers....during the SB run they played at a high level, but age will catch up with them next year... I think both retire in the offseason.

People made a big deal of the Ravens shifting their starting lineup on the O-line, but that was due to performance...NOT players getting injured every other week like the Steelers.

Steelers line should dominate in a few years, but they need to stay healthy.

 

Yep. Here's a situation fans haven't thought of. The ravens are in need for a LT. Oher is a RT in this league. They'll probably go OT 1st rd but that won't be good enough. Starks probably won't be resigned here.

i think they are refering to max. who is a FA though as i'm sure you know.

 

I was thinking possibly that...or if they were looking to what the OL is supposed to be with Gilbert and Adams at OT and they were thinking Colon is a 3rd rounder (even though he could get cut)....or what, haha. Who knows...
