    1. Maybe Ben coming back healthy, stronger, baby thing over with, focused, and pis-- off from this year.
    2. Maybe Haley opening up the offensive play calling, learned what didn't work this year and pis--off from last year.
    3. Everybody starting healthy, learned that last year they overall were not in good enough in strength and condition during the off season and pis-- off from last year.
    4. Another year in for the young offensive line working together and pis--off from last year.
    5. Changing the special teams coach has got to be a positive.
    6. Ravens winning the Super Bowl has to be good. Very hard to duplicate.

Too early for me. A lot is going to happen during the offseason and in camp that could impact what we currently see as positives.

Everyone except for maybe Heath and Spence will be healthy and ready for camp. We also more than likely be seeing a lot of new faces. Clark, Harrison, Hampton, Kesiel, Foote, Starks, Colon, Wallace, Mendenhall, Sanders. That's a lot of potential turnover for an 8-8 team that is almost never active in free agency. We might not let all of those guys go but a majority of them will be released. This makes this years draft soo crucial, it could make or break the 2013 steelers.

I would think/hope Spence would be ready 10-11 months after his injury. And Sanders isn't going anywhere hes an RFA and will be back (they couldnt loose him and Wallace). And all but 4 of the others you mentions are FAs...and the only one I dont think will be going anywhere of that bunch would be Clark the rest...theres a high chance.

A healthy Decastro, and Adams with a year's experience, are definite positives at this point.

OL getting time to heal and to train(agility)(lift weights)
AB and Manny Sanders getting another year under thieir belts.
Lawerence Timmons, Ryan Clark, A healthy Spence? Keenan lewis signed?
OL coach and ST coaches, lets hope there is atleast 2 more hirings.
Alot of positives left on this team, Colbert and Tomlin HAVE TO HIT home run in draft though.

I don't think we are in as bad of shape as everyone else does. We had a lot of major pieces get hurt last year. Ben was not the same after the injury and we went through 3 right tackles. Before Adams went down we were running the ball extremely well. If this team can finallystay healthy I like our chances.

The first thing that comes to mind, is a healthy and young OL. Although, not sure if the inexperience will be a problem. Other than that, I wont have anything else until after the draft...

I think Ben will buy into Haley's offense more and put up MVP numbers like he was in the first half of the season.
Polamalu should be healthy but time will tell. I've been wrong before on this one.
A better Oline which was coming along before the injuries piled up.
Hopefully better clock management from Tomlin.
I'd like to see us pick up a better RB with both power and speed. Mendy still dances too much, Dwyer goes down too easy and Redman is only solid for short gains.
Plax might be good for one more season and they really need to make him Ben's go to guy.
Carnell Lake has our secondary in a much improved group.
Competition in the AFC North is better than any other division and this should help us beat those teams that we are supposed to beat up on. Team needs to learn this from most previous seasons though and take it very seriously. Again time will tell. Been wrong before on this one too.

A couple of positives, two rookie linemen Adams and Decastro got valuable experience and should be ready to go game 1, Woodley will be targeted to get in shape and pushed in camp and should be a better player, Harrison should be back in form, and some additions in the draft should provide badly needed depth, as well, we could get a 1st round day 1 starter like we did with pouncey and that certainly wouldnt hurt. Ben should be hungry and ready to start his 10 th season and should be ready to play his best ball ever. I'm hoping the coaching staff and players show up motivated to get that 8-8 sour taste out of their mouths and show up with all hands on deck dedicated to owning this Division in 2013 and to roll into the playoffs....

i haven't weighed in yet so here goes.

i like the youth movement on the O-line and think it will eventually grow to be a stregnth. we should be able to open up the full playbook with the mobility brought by this group. they are young and will make mistakes, but i believe we have a good solid coach that can help them build.

i think sanders and AB will take a step forward. i hope cotchery stays as the vet. he still plays well when used. one draft pick addition should help.

we need speed at RB, so at least one pick here and some udfa acquisitions. will johnson looked good in year one and should look better in year two.

i still like our d-line as a positive with mclendon and heyward getting more involved.

i like our corners. i would like it better if lewis gets re-signed. we have some good youth behind the starters and the lake effect will continue to build.

timmons played well last year and i still expect him to improve. hopefully spence will be ready, but i like the addition of rolle to that spot. everyone else will have a year under their belt and a draft pick should be coming.

woodley needs to get healthy and stay healthy. i'd bring JH back, but also like the way worilds was flashing last year. robinson and carter will be a year older in the system.

safety is my biggest concern. there will have to be at least one draft pick even if troy comes back healthy. clark was playing a little beat up for what i remember as the first time in a long time. he has one year left. golden will be a year older in the system.

we may lose our long time long snapper this year. money and age. we need to find one and hope he's as good as what warren has been for us.

hrappman is back and i think it's for a reason. suisham was very solid in his time here but we do need to move forward with some youth and stronger leg here. money saved by this move too. new ST's coach should help this group and hopefully return it to a stregnth. butler needs to become consistant, but did well as a rook.

paulson flashed some ability, we could use someone as a backup. hopefully heath regains his form. that's all i got. Go Steelers!
