i believe they are more biased against the steelers then any other team first off. second, if thats the best refs they have, that did the SB,they better go back to the replacements. why was there no flags thrown and ejections made? they might as well just play with no rules if they are not going to enforce the ones they have. pitiful showing roger. you can never put your hands on a ref, let alone push him and remain in the game. the slaps to the heads after the plays, the holding in critical moments was so blatent it made me sick. it really makes the game unfair and ruins how it's meant to be played. it's a sad day for pro football.:cool:

The referee who was pushed should have pulled the flag.
I'm curious if he'll speak up on why he chose not to do that.

There were tough calls/non-calls on both sides. Akers took a dive, and it worked. That "penalty" put three points on the board. There was a personal foul on Flacco (hit out of bounds) that could have been called. But the 49er fans will whine about that "hold" in the end zone, but that didn't decide the game.

Meh...every game has stuff like this. While it did suck that on that key play in the endzone that it should have been called....the 49ers could have also actually showed up in the first half and by doing that could have won them the game also.

the worst was the push of the ref. that should have been an automatic ejection. i never said it made or broke the game , it was just very poorly done. it boils down to the refs altering games throughout the season, and people jumped on the replacements, because they called what they saw both ways.

Haha, don't get off topic with the replacements, mac. We all agree with you here, but the replacements were pretty horrible.

I think you make a fair point there. In retrospect, the replacement refs look a little better than was thought. Also, I was looking this morning for a fine on that push, but I guess it's either too soon for anything, or else it's just going to all be glossed over.

He will say he didn't throw the flag because it wasn't a Steeler who pushed him

It would have made a difference Mac. Williams, #29 broke up that sure TD pass in the end zone, He should have been out of the game by then

Of course everyone missed the mugging of the man on the Kick-off return. He was totally wrapped up by one and being held by another. got pulled right out of his lane!

That's EXACTLY what I said! I stopped the game to show it to my wife. Let's also not forget that on that 2pt conversion Ed Reed was off sides by a mile yet they call the 9ers off a bit later. Yes the officiating was horrible for sure. But still Harbaugh is an idiot for having the fastest qb in the league and instead of letting him run it in from 5 yards out he makes some of the stupidest play calls I have ever seen. I think that will ultimately go down in history as one of the worst series ever. Good grief what an idiotic set of plays. Also if you're gonna throw a fade why in the ever loving crap are you gonna throw it to Crabtree when you have Moss that's a much better candidate for that pass. Just an utterly stupid set of plays.

The hold was right in front of the ref...easy call to make...

The flacco play was a bang bang play...two totally different things..oh and btw flacco was inbounds

Well that "dive" resulted in an injury. Ackers is hurt. I don't know how you think that is a dive, he took his leg out from under him. Rule clearly states the kicker has to be allowed to land. If you have a problem with the rule thats one thing but there was no dive there. Ravens are lucky it wasn't called for an automatic first down, which is what it should have been. If you're looking for something the refs missed in favor of the Ravens, they could have called a personal foul on the shot Flacco took out of bounds.

Imagine if Harrison pushed a ref like that. He'd be ejected, fined, and suspended.

I thought the 9ers should have went for the first after that penalty. It put them at 4th and 2 but they had been moving the ball good. They got greedy and went for the end zone instead of just going for the first when they probably could have ran an out route and picked it up.

Given their idiotic play calling down there I'm not so sure they would have made it!

I heard Jimmy H whining about no holding penalty in the end zone on their 4th down play. Should have been offsetting penalties if anything, both players were holding and pushing off. Sounded like Holmgren to me!

Actually, let me be more specific: He fell down (watched him pick up the plant leg) WITHOUT being touched.

Too jumpy on my computer but doesn't look like he was falling down until the guy rolled through his leg and even if he was going down first the defender still rolled through his leg, not allowed to do that. That was at the very least a running into the kicker like they called and probably should have been a roughing the kicker but I need a smoother video to be sure.
