Finally! A Steeler makes sense on the Super Bowl!!

Antonio Brown finally expresses a rational thought on the Super Bowl on his Twitter and Facebook pages:

Cannot even watch Super Bowl. I do not want 9ers to win to match us in 6 trophies and defiantly can not root for Rat Birds. I guess I got to find something else productive!


Way to FINALLY express the sentiment of most Steeler fans, Antonio! Many of us were getting sick and tired of all the niceties with the Rat Birds. Now, go talk to your buddy Maurkice!!!

I really like AB's mindset - yeah, sometimes he annoys me (he has a tendency to show off on the field when he makes big plays) but all in all he seems to be a great kid.

Saw an article earlier this weekend about him spending some time in the local kid hospital (like a bunch of other Steelers players also do) and him talking about how he wants to retired a Steeler

Pouncey grew up in Florida for the most part...those guys from Florida worship the older Florida guys from "the U" and what not....that's just the way it is...

 

I saw this when I was watching the Pens game with a bunch of people and said the exact same thing!! FINALLY someone on our team gets it!

 

I think the fans take these things a lot more seriously than the players. A lot of the time the players know each other from college and they're friends (like Patrick Willis and Michael Oher). I'm as disapponted as anyone that the Steelers weren't in the SB but I also like football and can appreciate a good game and the second half of it was very good. I too didn't want the 49ers to get their 6th so by default I guess I wanted the Ravens to win even though it pains me to say that. I can at least respect how they play the game unlike the Cheatriots. If they had won I would have rather seen the niners get their 6th than them win.
