Can one coach be more consistently wrong with challenges. We had a catch last week that was clearly in and he doesn’t challenge it. We had a non catch this week and he challenges it. It seems like this happens every game. Why wouldn’t they put someone in place to direct him on these? The continued mistakes year after year that never get rectified are frustrating.

He challenges plays he shouldn’t challenge and doesn’t challenge the plays he should challenge. Over the years, watching Tomlins challenges has become a challenge for us fans.

Tomlin absolutely should have challenged the Pickens catch. It was close. It was a big play and being that it was in the first half there really wasn't much of a risk in letting them take a look at the play.

Tomlin should have challenged the Jefferson catch as well. I have no idea why he didnt.

No Tomlin fan here, but that was a good catch by Pickens. The refs completely missed it somehow

Tomlin keeps saying he uses his gut to make these calls. Maybe he needs to eat more bran on game days.

This has bothered me his entire time coaching here. Question, who is there go to person for replay? Give me a name not a concept. Whadda mean by that is I don’t want to hear “he’ll assist coach in staffing and may help with replay duties too.” NO! This needs to be a position that requires experience and a success fail history to note. Major point, it needs a post season evaluation like all other positions do.

Good Gad this is just ongoing year after year.:shrug:

Bob Pompeani thought that there should have been a challenge on a second down run inside our red zone that was marked an inch short. Replay showed that the back, I think it might have been Shamklin, made the first down by a foot but there was no challenge and on 3rd and one inch the call was an outside run that lost 3 yards. Then there was another fourth down failure and another scoring opportunity was missed.

Tomlin is not big on self-critique and doesn't take suggestion. He does what he does. He'll keep relying on his gut for challenges, and we'll keep getting blown out in the first quarter of playoff games.

First thing this idiot needs to do is take off the damn Sun glasses during night games, maybe he will see the play better.

Oh I went round and round with some member here last year. He claimed of statistical proof that Tomlin isn’t at the bottom of the league.

My memory isn’t that bad, I think I’ve been surprised by him actually using the challenge call at a good moment and then winning were counted with a peace sign.

I know Tomlin likes a small staff, but it seems every other team in the league has someone up in the booth watching the gamecast and helping with Challenges.

To me Tomlins excuse of "I" didn't have a good angle on the play is completely unacceptable in the modern day NFL.

I was very disappointed that after the 1st preseason game, not a single reporter at Tomlin's post-game press conference did not ask him about the "No Challenge" that cost the Steelers a 1st and 10 from the Texans 24 yard line. Just terrible, terrible reporting by everyone in that room.

Might as well just like it! Sunglasses at night and challenges! For some reason we keep extending his contract! But thank God I was born and still remember the 70’s superbowls and the two Cowher brought to Pitt which I know the 2 nd was not his on the field but it was his team. Because as long as we have Tomlin I will not experience another SB win as a fan!

Forget about another SB win, will Tomlin ever even win another playoff game? I'd say no
