Its gonna take something just short of a miracle for the Steelers to make playoffs this season.

 

@steelersrule6 … this isnt being negative, this is being realistic. Talk already of Fields aka KFP jr being starter?! Like i said before… the Pittsburgh Pirates will win a playoff game before the Steelers. Keep eating up the greatness of Fields, remember KFP had a perfect qb rating last preseason. I hope it works out. As I am a lifelong Steeler fan, but its gonna take a few years for my beloved team to be any kind of threat.

You can pencil in a backup QB for week 3 against the chargers. Or a very limited Justin Herbert.


This is an injury that takes months to heal. I went through this and spent months trying to stretch my way back to 100%, while wearing a Split/Boot every night to bed

 

Best get off to a fast start which has not been their MO. To think this schedule is not a concern is shortsighted.

 

If they can win the first game, they’ll be 1-0. If they win the next week as well, it’ll be a winning streak, these things have happened before. Need lots of winning streaks early in the season.

 

Herbert's backup is Easton Stick but I think Herbert will be back by then.

As of right now, schedule looks brutal! But, all that can change with injuries to opposing teams. Trying to be positive!
