Watching the lady vols play basketball and the announcers said that their were 19 former sec players in the super bowl. It got me thinking about how many we have. I counted 6 off the top of my head

I forgot butler. Hood was still in big 12 so i didnt count him. I hope we go sec heavy in draft this year. Alot of good players coming out this year at positions of need.

i would love to know what tomlin and chip kelly talked about at the sr.bowl practice for so long. i read they had an extended conversation lasting most of the practice. it could have been certain oregon players or players from the pac 12. there are alot of players from that confrence that are highly sought after and in positions we could use. stanfords rb, OLB,TE. or oregons dion jordan, barner, kiko alonso, long. ore.st. poyer and wheaton. a little brain picking of a guy that saw alot of these players.

the ACC holds the record for the most 1st rd picks in one draft at 13. ALMOST HALF THE TEAMS WENT ACC RD 1!!!!!!!!!

plus you can't count Hood he was SHOW ME STATE in big 12 back then

They may hold that record, but its obvious that the ACC doesnt hold a candle to the SEC right now. Basketball yea, but who cares about that? And this is coming from an ACC fan who lives right in the middle of it all in NC. But when it comes to football the SEC has it figured out!

    come on bignasty

the SEC has figured out how to win a bcs. system wins is all it is.
coaches: Saban is as dirty as the Auburn coach as dirty as The MAD HATTER, as dirty as Urban Meyer.
percentage wise they produce less of an all around player
The standards for the entire SEC is lower than most in the ncaa.Sure more wins but lesser quality

im not buying the acc crap

the sec had led in number of draft picks for at least the last 4-5 drafts....no way acc is close to the sec in anything related to football

I'm not saying that the ACC doesnt produce quality players. All I'm saying is that as a team as whole the SEC teams are better. I cant stand most of the SEC coaches as you stated, and I do agree that the ACC does produce top NFL caliber players, They just cant put a complete team together as the SEC does?

Lmao. The acc? Bottom line. In the bcs era sec in regular season 42-36. Bowls 16-9. Take fsu and miami out of that and its embarrassing. Hell vandy and kentucky both have winning records against acc.

what does this mean? firgured out the system? saban is dirty? the scandel at miami is pretty bad. fsu has been in more trouble than any university. clemson, north carolina both have had issues. every team cheats alittle. to say that the acc is even on the same level as sec is ridiculous. every conference including the sun belt puts players in the nfl. you named qbs from acc. look at oline and dline from sec. its not even close
