Interesting study here...we find mass numbers of Steeler fans in odd places

    That's kinda neat. Its actually a little sad because most of Ohio are Steelers fans. :lolol:

    im not surprised ohio hasnt had a football team to root for in years!

    I was a lil surprised about SC.....with the falcons to the south and panthers to the north you would think SCwould be one of those two colors

    I was really suprised with NC. Not with the steelers following, but that there was only maybe one or two spots of Skins fans. Going out you see a mixture of everyone but, but by far the majority people i see are either in steelers or skins attire?? Thought i would have seen more yellow across the map than I did though??

    The reason there are so many skins fans down south is because for a long time they were sorta the closest team to the south. Also when they were good in the 80s I think that caused them to get really popular here. I remember in the 80s to me it always seemed like the Redskins or the 49ers were always on tv. I really can't remember ever even seeing a Steelers game on tv in the 80s. I was only 7 by 1989 but my sort of "impression" of what was on tv at that time was mostly those two teams. I know a lot of Skins fans for sure but trust me down here in TN there are more Steelers fans than anybody. When we played TN this year I'm telling you it looked like there was more black and gold there than blue and white. I honestly believe we took over that stadium. It was a proud moment for me as a fan for sure. The result of that game however.... not so much.

    No way that so. CA is that supportive of the Chargers. There's too many loyalties to teams from the cities most people came from.

    this summer i was in haway and in california i saw some steelers fan in the island and in san diego when i talked to a chargers fan on the beach he told me : well at least you know how to win overthere , we still don't know , there were good guys a little bit disillusional
