I have thrown some blame to Popcorn. It has been well documented. I was added to ignore lists by several well-known regulars back in '18 for being critical of Tomlin.

I'm burnt out on criticizing Tomlin. He's HC for the Steelers until he wants to retire, so there's no need to waste any more energy on it. I've accepted it and moved on.

I would rather draft a disposable cap-friendly rookie than overpay for a QB whose cheeks tighten in the playoffs. He is the opposite of clutch.

 

Precisely. However Dak most certainly wouldn't be the "vacant " QB that Watson has been so far.Looking at Watson's 250 mil "body of work" falls amazingly short thus far. Those massage chairs can't get him over the hump it seems.

 

why don't we draft a QB who is probably good and stop picking up other teams has Beens. Next QB we get better not have little hands. and we need to stick by him for a few years If he isn't amazing right away.

The cowboys defense gave up 6 TD in the first 7 drives of the packers in that game....Dak was not good in this game but the defense were worse!

agreed for sure - but in part, he was not good b/c he is playing chuck and duck, behind at least 14 points at every turn. He is not the 2nd coming of Tom Brady, but he is a Top 10 QB and if were on this roster, would accomplish things, short of Mike Tomlin

No QB is SuperMan - Mahomes was not perfect last year even, Reid had a SOLID DEFENSE helping him

I don't know if He's better than Wilson....unless Wilson is done, but yes he's way better than Fields. I watched the game, and yet ....that's not the only playoff game He's played in.....My problem with Dak is ........He's always had a great team around Him, and yet not the results You would like. At some point it must be Him that is looked at.

Great team don't gave up 6 TD on 7 drives to the oppsosing team in a playoffs game at home....Yes the play of Dak was not very good but come playoffs time he is not the only problem....They can't contain a Kyle Shanahan or Matt Lafleur(same coaching tree) offense to save their live in the last few years

There has been talk about putting a salary cap on the QB position. I can easily see that becoming true. Every good QB seems to be trying to set a new record for pay. It is spiraling out of control and starting to trickle into other positions as well.

 

I'm not sure they will. I believe they see it as .....let the teams decide where to spend it. I mean look at how outrageous the Wr pay is getting, and they may touch the ball at tops....what....15 times a game.??
