I will agree Shaw could have went about it a different way. I went off the handle some but when I read it I was pretty pissed off. Hopefully woodley goes the way of Clark and shuts down his social media stuff.

shaw is a businessman soliciting his services on social media. i have no issues with his offer or method. (incidentally i have no bis issues about woodleys response either) regardless of woodleys hamstring and it's effect on this season, it has been recurring for several years. he needs to do SOMETHING different. about the ankle i don't know the details of how this one happened, but scientists have proven that compensation to deficiencies or injuries in the body cause misalignments and injuries in other parts of the body. hypothetical example. hamstring is tender, less drive from the hips and more drive from the calf, more strain on the soleus, peroneus brevis and other ankle supportive muscles, increased susceptibility to sprains.

I agree I wish they all would put an end to the Twitter and Face book stuff, creates too much drama!

twitter and face book don't create the drama, they just provide a more public and more accessible forum for it. really the people keeping up with it are the enablers

Tom Shaw is just creating some media buzz for some inexpensive advertising. If he was sincere it would have been communicated to Woodley in more of a personal and professional manner.

Woodley has gotten lazy. I disagree with the woodley name calling but facts are facts. He was hungry and played like a man on a mission before his Big Contract just Like Timmons did before his. Timmons play fell off but at least he has returned to a higher level of play this year. Woodley looks soft as his weight has ballooned. His weight is up because he doesn't put in the offseason workout like he should and his hammy issues is also due to his committment to training.

Could it be Woodley was never really as good as his stats? Are we seeing the real Woodley? Was woodley the beneficinary of playing with A. smith and J. Harrison and now that he's with Ziggy and a weakened Harrison his real skills are shinning?

Who really knows, one thing is for sure, if he hits the gym and gets in better condition and has more of a team leader/hunger attitude he should at least up his 45 tackles and 1 sack performance.

i think you hit the nail on the head with your assessment. i wonder how much help offered quietly woodley has refused. a little, a lot? i don't shaw really worries about advertising or public opinion though.

Yeah I was thinking about the Harrison and smith thing as well but as somebody pointed out he was still getting blocked by a single te a lot of the time so I don't know if that's the case or not. If you go back AMD look at pictures from earlyin his career he was a beast muscle wise with no gut. I like Woodley a lot and I know I'm hard on him but I still think if he puts in the time he could be the best Steelers olb ever

definitely have to go with lloyd. remember injuries did his career in early. staph infection sidelined him the last few games his final season here. his ankle never held up 100% the next year at carolina. lloyd is the reason i'm a steelers fan. when kirkland and lloyd were in their prime running backs legitimately feared playing us.

Lloyd was great but his career high is ten sacks in a season and only surpassed 100 tackles once. Also throw in Harrison's tomahawk chop . Before Goodell changed the rules everybody on the field was scared of Harrison.

Its cool. I had to bust the chops of ThesteelHurtin2188 cause I knew he remembers Dobre Shunka and of course I knew what he meant but whenever a chance to pay homage to a former Great it MUST be taken!!!

Whats to say the Steelers won't resign him? Maybe we can sign and trade him?

Maybe they will resign him, I wasn't disputing that. At this time I don't really don't see how the Steelers can move him. Explain this to me in real world terms.
