Holy crap!!! One of are more liberal States and you guys don't have legal sports betting. I have zero idea about this but I assumed the whole country could place bets with the apps regardless what State you live they live in. Now I'm not so sure.

Look on the bright side.... if we go 6-11 or 7-10... we may get a top 10 draft pick in '25.

Steelers went 6-10 in 1999 and got Plax at #8 in '00 draft.

Steelers went 6-10 in 2003 and got Roethlisberger at #11 in '04 draft.

Wow, I never would have guessed that online gambling was still illegal somewhere. Do you still get all the online Gambling Commercials when you watch a sporting event on a local channel?

We don't get the gambling tv commercials, but I see it online and hear them when listening to podcasts.

If we're gonna dream of Lamar and Burrow being out and rainbows out our butts we might as well figure on the Brownies QB situation being the usual ineffective mess and Hurts being hurt so we'll play Pickett. At least theoretically our backup QB situation oughta be better than any o' those teams unless our QB situation turns out to be an ineffective mess too. Yeah unknowns O rama. It's the Stillers big uncharacteristic 1-season big roll of it the dice and I will say this for it: it's going to be fun to watch.

Still confident that the Steelers reach 10 wins. That said, this team can easily win only 7 if both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields simply are not good enough; my floor for the team. However, the opposite can also count.

Should Russell Wilson exceed expectations?! This team can contend for 12 wins. Again, this is the classic scenario where everything goes right.

The 2024 Steelers Season will come down to three X Factors; Arthur Smith, the Offensive Line and QB Play. If the team is even good enough at all three... 10 wins isn't out of thr realm of possibility.

Who is going to be that presumed Top 10 selection for the Steelers?!

The team does need serious help at IDL and the 2025 Class is going to be one of the best ones the league has seen since 2019. Continuing with Defense, @S.T.D may get his wish next season as the upcoming CB Class has some serious heavy hitters; Travis Hunter from Colorado, Will Johnson from Michigan and Benjamin Morrison from Notre being the best "Big Three" I have scouted since 2021; Jaycee Horn, Patrick Surtain and Greg Newsome all being First Round Picks.

This all said, in the event of the team selecting within the Top 10, either a major injury or the continuation of bad QB Play. To that end, as much as I would hate on missing on some great Defensive Prospects, have to nail down that QB Position first. It pains me to say it but, in the event that this does happen, Jalen Milroe from Alabama might have am early lead. If not him, I'd take Quinn Ewers from Texas in a heartbeat.

Keep in mind though that we are currently in May. A lot will happen between now and the conclusion of the 2024 NCAA CFB Season.
