Finally, season started last night, first episode didn't disappoint. Going to be interesting on how they end it and what liberties they take. I hope they don't end it like the Kirk Douglas version, that would suck but I don't see them doing that.

This is one I'll have to get around to watching sooner or later. Just a shame it isn't on Netflix

Actually Showtime has a new app coming out that's just like HBO GO or Netflix. It's called Showtime Anytime. Also some of the Spartacus incarnations used to be on Netflix.

Doesn't really help when I still can't get HBO GO. Showtime? I've never even subscribed. So they're going the way of HBO (No) Go?

    :frustrated:

Why can't you get HBO Go? (Just wondering if it's something I could offer advice with.)

It's on Starz, not showtime. Ray, does that mean you haven't seen any season? You definitely have to watch this show.

I thought that was a Showtime show. Didn't even know Starz did their own. Either ay, no. Never saw any of them.

My cable company (the oldest in the nation IIRC) does not participate. grrrrrrrrr

Ahh, I've never had Starz either.

Oh man, that's some BS right there.

LOL. We only recently (like a month ago) got AMC, and many other mainstay cable channels in HD. I've been watching TWD in a tiny window all of this time.

Nope. Best ISP in my area is my cable company, sadly. Not switching until I have better options there.

Oh man, you guys are seriously missing an epic program. First season, Blood and Sand was the best, naturally, first is usually the best. Second season took place before the first season called God's of the Arena and is technically listed as season 1.5 as it was only 6 episodes I think, but it was awesome. They did that to give the actor Andy Whitfield who plays Spartacus a chance to recover from cancer. Unfortunately he didn't recover and died so was recast for season 2, Vengeance, it was a little weird for a few episodes because Whitfield was perfect as Spartacus but the new guy does a great job and you get used to the change. Now its up to season 3, War of the Damned and it's the final season :-(

The first Blood and Sand Spartacus was pretty bad ass and I enjoyed it a lot. I was never into prequels so I haven't watched any of the new stuff. Also, any chance you get to see Xena the Warrior Princess in the full buff makes it worth your while too. :hehehe: I agree with you Tomlin , Whitfield was the perfect Spartacus, it's a shame how cancer took over.

It's on 360. Why can't you get it?

Because your cable company has to participate and mine does not.

If you know someone who has comcast you can use their password and it will give you the app. That's all you gotta do. My supervisor lets me use his password so I can watch things on there. I have direct tv but no HBO so he lets me use his password. That's how I got to watch Band of Brothers and Curb your Enthusiasm. Which was AWESOME btw!
