Cam Sutton. Does he deserve a 2nd chance?

I get that you can't really be bringing in a lot of bad dudes... but the team knows him, so if we feel like he can be the guy we all thought he was before this incident than why not? I'd trust the organization's instinct either way.

It would be an ideal situation to bring a player of Sutton's caliber back to play a similar role that he played before signing the contract in Detroit. He probably would be cheap too. The only difference is that he would be the set in stone #2 behind Peezy Jr. and would move to the slot in Nickel with Jackson coming in to play outside. It would make our CB room a very good group.

 

Nelson finds himself not getting re-signed a lot for a guy that is a pretty solid player. Might be some character/locker room issues there.

My ex wife called the police several times when we'd argue. Never once did I raise a hand to her or threaten her, but she would still call the police. I was already into my career and she was finishing up her degree...both of us in a major that....lets just say, having the police at your house isn't a good look

I keep hearing the Steelers are waiting to see what the league does to Cam Sutton, but doesn't Cam Sutton have to be a current NFL player to be suspended or fined for off field activities? I am not to sure how the NFLPA membership works for players who are not currently in the NFL.

 

We’re a people of second chances, if they get with him and deem his mind is right AND they can predetermine to some degree what the league is going to do AND they can work around it, yes, I think he fits in well TBH.

A lot depends on him, counseling, the courts, and last but for us certainly not least, the League
