The Beanie is the best of the lot. got a shot at day 1 SCB, unless we bring Sutton in.

Beanie is my best of the lot. Actually I'm not that impressed with the lot.

With Dean Lowry signed for 2 years, looks like the MILKs days are numbered. With Lee, maybe Leal needs to start to worry. Totally forgot about Dean Lowry. Now I understand skipping over the day 3 DTs. I know we brought back Fenko(sp), but Gabe Hall didn't get drafted. Weird we couldn't/didn't snag him as an UDFA.

Highsmith and Ogunjobi both attended Charlotte. Just can't get past the 49er's moniker, though.

A good % of the NFL is UDA, and you never know what a guy does in workouts and camp to make the cut, but I agree, there does not seem to be many here that are more than camp bodies.

Plumlee has drawn comparisons to New Orleans Saints QB/TE Taysom Hill; he ran a 4.51-second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day. While he could be the team’s fourth QB/camp arm, it’s more likely he’ll move to slot WR, where he also has experience.

Yeah I watched some highlights. He is quick and elusive. Likely camp fodder though or as you say move to slot WR.

This is true, but I read somewhere before (was looking, and can't find it) that most that make it ,make it on other teams, than the original team that brings them in. I only bring that up because that seems strange.

that does seem strange, but then again guys who get cut at times sign with another PS, then get poached and signed to a regular roster during the season because of injuries. That's why when MT and others from scouting do the reports it becomes like a file in your comp. Some of these guys are on the cusp, but just can't break through, but given the opportunity they can break through, for at least a while, lol

It makes sense. Teams have no vested interest in UFAs because they didnt use any draft capital to obtain them. So they aren't nearly as patient as they are with players they drafted. A lot of these guys end up on practice squads. With coaches bouncing around all over the league, UFAs who didn't fit with their original team, may have a better shot playing for a familiar coach, that's with a new team.

or a safety. Remember back when Rick Trocano was drafted from Pitt. The Chief actually went into the draft room and mentioned the kid from Pitt, so they took him in the last round and converted him to safety in camp, was on the PS, all of our QB's got injured and Cleveland took him off our PS. The memories that come back from those horrid brown's, lol
