The way the draft is going I am assuming the money was freed up for a DB. My money is still on Justin Simmons.

Surprised on the Guard pick as Fautanu on many draft sites is listed as a guard, as a lot of people believe he will make a better Guard than Tackle in the NFL. (Mike Tomlin says Tackle)

WOW. A future backup guard while a future starting CB is still on the board in TJ Tampa and goes to Baltimore. This will come back to haunt us 2 times a year.

Not if they do a player-player trade like with Carolina.

They also have Spencer Anderson and Nate Herbig….. Is Moore, Daniels, Isaac Seumalo now trade bait.?

We get it. You incorrectly thought Fautanu was a guard, so now you are going to keep posting as if he is one no matter what Tomlin or anybody else says about it.

No, I think he is a LT that will be competing with Dan Moore this year for the Starting LT spot. Fautanu played both LT and LG in college.

Interesting that Khan had commented on both Nate and James being on the last year of their deals. Mason's snaps have been basically at Left Guard. Herbig offers position versatility but we haven't seen much of him overall. As for James, he will only be 27 next season.

Wonder how those negotiations will turn out.

Ideally I'd want Moore gone ASAP but the problem is that now you have no one reliable behind Broderick and Troy should something go wrong at Offensive Tackle. Dylan Cook appears to the be the best option but to me, that is quite the leap of faith there.

Let's not forget KCs awesome back field on the D...if their D wasn't as good as it was last year....they don't win a SB

They thought highly enough of him to fly the Smith and Meyer to South Dakota two days before the draft to work McCormick out at center, something he had only done in practice.

The ideal O-line would be: Jones > Seumalo > Frazier > Daniels > Fautano

That not entirely true but if you have that special QB yes I would agree. It shouldn’t be the way but the officiating has made it nearly impossible to play defense in this league anymore.

I have been watching Videos of McCormick's play and other people post their opinions on this draft pick, and I have to admit that I am turning the corner and thinking the Steelers may have found a starting Guard for their future.

Straight out of the 70s with that Neck Roll. Love that first play where he pulls and completely destroys his opponent.

He looked great against low-level competition. At least that's better than not being great against low-level competition.

    Yep.

L'Jarius Sneed and Trent McDuffie quietly became the top CB Duo in the league last year. For that matter, it became more evident in the playoffs. Sneed though earned himself a massive payday.

McDuffie will be even better; George Karlaftis the same. For that matter, it is becoming more and more apparent that my final ranking of George being a Top 20 Prospect from 2022 will come to fruition after all.

Herbig might be the odd man out this year. 4 mill cap savings if released.

James Daniels has been a solid player. Might be in line for an extension.
