It's a pick we never had to begin with. He was able to make 400 tackles with the knee.

He's awesome if he lasts more than a couple years.

Sure, but we’re getting a guy at pick #98 who is a top 40 guy in terms of quality. Sometimes it’s worth the risk.

PFF ranked him #30 in the draft. Just saying.

Yeah it didn't stop Wilson from making over 135 tackles last year and getting 3 sacks and picking off 3 passes.

That’s right! Did we just trade Kenny Pickett for Payton Wilson???

Can't they rebuild a knee? I knew a girl that got a ligament from a corpse.

    Like Steve Austin, nah-nah-nah-nahhhh

Yeah. ACC Defensive player of the year. Butkis Award as best linebacker in the nation. Bednarik Award as best defensive player in the nation.
You may question his injuries, but your take is pure BS. "Just being real" is code for "I'm going to be a douche here".

I think management was lucky and good tonight.

Thanks to the frenzy feeding on six QB`s in 1st round, we get Fautanu and it set us up to get what we want with our other picks.

Probably our draft picks would look much different if it didn`t fall that way.

Fantastic draft so far. The two Wilsons are steals that low. DB and D line next.

Pretty happy with the first two days. We got a RT in the first, we were patient and didn’t over draft a center and still got a darn good one in round 2, boosted a depleted WR room in round 3, and took a flier with on a super talented kid at LB who would never have been there if it weren’t for some knee issues. Worth a shot imo with the pick we pulled off Kenny Pickett’s corpse.

3 guys who will see instant playing time and a shot on a kid who could end up being a contributor quickly if he can stay healthy. Not bad at all.

Farking phenomenal. Two straight years of hitting on so many upside bargains. MAybe these drafts look pedestrian in a few years, but man, Omar Khan was a home run hire (home run keep n promote) and Weidl I am sure is doing some heavy lifting too.

I rarely give kudos to Tomlin, but either he is working well with team GM or he is at least getting out of the way.

Rooney gets a big high five for picking Khan...easily could have grabbed an old timer retread GM.

I feel great. Other than not quite having a good, day 1 CB to plug n play, this draft has nailed it. If they can find a gem nickel DB and DT/DE with upside, if a project, I'll be too tickled to breath!

Nah we don't do that saying. We had the pick and you're OK it was waisted, is what you're saying .

We need a CB. Tampa was worth a shot and healthy. Heck, WR Wilson would have been solid to having a team of WR's for Wilson to throw to.

Greg LLoyd and Hines Ward both played their entire NFL careers while missing an ACL.
