Well, yeah, he's the mouthpiece for the owners and they want more money. Duh.

Once he fully implements flag football entirely he will seek out a 24 game season.

If they’re going to push this through, they should increase the size of the rosters and practice squads.

Don't like it, but it's inevitable.

If the expanded PS stays as it was last year then really no need to go further, but I do think expanding the active roster to 58 or 60 would be warranted, perhaps extend the travel roster to 55 and active day roster to 48 or50. Keep the emergency QB rule that they established this year, it would give more options, better opportunity to keep and establish players.

These guys eventually get injured the longer the season goes. By the end of the season a lot of teams will have key guys missing.

I don't want to see a team in London either, that will be a logistics nightmare for west coast teams.

It's easier to go .500 with an even number of games.

Fine if they expand the roster and add another bye week. Also, get rid of TNF

    This.

Goodell is just conveying the message. It's the Owners that want this. Then again, the NFL PA has shown, throughout its history, that they will never unite to stand against the Owners they do battle with. As such, the Owners will get their wish.

Of course it was, businesses get what want by degrees.

Disney+ have doubled their pricing in four years, which you can bet was their target price from the outset, but they didn't double it in one go, they increased it every year well over inflation to get what they want while consumers are less suceptible to cancelling after an incremental rise, same with Netflix, Peloton etc.

Longer seasons just mean come playoff time more key guys will be out from the wear and tear that comes with extra snaps. Greed ruins everything.

Thursday football is trash. Game quality sucks and guys are more susceptible to injury. They should get rid of that nonsense but they won’t. If they could have a game everyday they would be happy.

You can leave out the "founding" part of it.

What’s dumbfounding is worrying about player safety but letting greed set the stage for more injuries.

    Maybe it can work.

Move the 'all-star' break flag game to the middle of the season and Give each team a bye before and after the break. Obviously you can't just keep adding back to back weeks. I would also like to remove Thursday Night games.
