Tremendous upside, but he can’t stay healthy. Hopefully for him and the Steelers his injuries are in the past and he will have a long and fruitful career

This is why I see slot corner, not boundary corner, as our major need. We have Trice and Rush, both of whom showed promise last year, along with Jackson. We have depth there. Third round is a great place to be picking for a slot corner this year, and we have two picks.

Jackson can play the slot or outside.

Don’t think Jackson has ever played slot. He’s also predominantly played zone which makes trading for him even more puzzling to me

6'3" 215 lb corners who can run a 4.43 are very rare. I hope he can stay healthy for the entire season and we can have two top notch corners.

You say this after Trice tore his ACL on August 1 and Rush played in all of three games, making three tackles and defending one pass. I admire your optimism ;)

I hope both make strides this year, but right now feel the cornerback room is about as deep as the puddle in my grandma's driveway I used to play in as a kid. They'd do well to try netting a CB that can man both inside and out.

This 100......., and if they all workout.....awesome, but I'm not staking any hopes on it.

I don’t think you can count on Trice or Rush at this point. If one of them pans out it is a cherry on top scenario. I still think we need two more CB’s. a Slot and a Boundary CB.

I know they really liked Trice in camp last year, and felt he could be a key contributor here.

Hopefully he is coming back 100%

This, all off season on different sites I keep reading from fans we have Trice, we will have a stud backfield, really? WTF has he done besides having a good workout in OTA's. For a 6th round pic I like him, I hope he can stay healthy and provide depth, if he makes the roster and plays even decent then it's a win, if he is better than decent then we have a real fine, but until then he is still just a camp body trying to make the team.

Hoping the kid comes back and contributes. And doesn't have a set back. That's all we can hope for. They are going to draft a corner probably in the 3rd round.

Their is also talk about bringing Patrick Peterson back. WHY? He is done!

i'd much rather see rowe over peterson. of course there is still wallace and sullivan still out there if worse comes to worse. sullivan could play the slot but i hope we come up with better in the draft.

Relying on Trice for anything is like signing Connor Williams and saying he is your starting center. Not something I would lay a bet on in Vegas....

Cooper DeJean from Iowa, Mike Sainristil from Michigan, Max Melton from Rutgers, Andru Phillips from Kentucky and Caelen Carson from Wake Forest.

Among the best options for a multi role CB use; slot specific in Sainristil's case . Take your pick among the five.

As regards to Cory Trice?! Still among my favorites from last years class. Pulling hard for him. If not him, Darius Rush is someone else that I have my eye on.

Ideally speaking?! Hitting on both alleviates a lot of CB woes in the Steelers Defensive Backfield.

Nope, still on the market. I'd think they've been in touch to keep track of his recovery and help color their draft picture a bit.

I agree, I hope Trice is able to come back. He was viewed as a steal of the draft before his injury.
