If the Steelers select Ricky Pearsall in the 2nd round instead of the 3rd like we did, it will only prove how much smarter the members here at Steelers Fans are than the Steelers.

A lot of us have been saying this for years :drinks:

Pearsall has grown on me the couple of months as candidate for the Steelers to consider in the second round, he's a no-brainer here. Makes an excellent compliment for Pickens, using speed and savvy to create separation early in his routes and is considered to have some of the best hands in this class. Some plug him as slot only in the NFL, but he has plenty of frame (6'1"/189) and versatility to be a dangerous Z as well (Florida deployed him in both). Dynamic receiver.

Ricky Pearsall, WR, University of Florida

Looks like Ricky Pearsall in a run away. Dont have time to do a tally. Going to announce this so we can move the draft along.

Well, it's going to come down to Nourzad, Bortolini, or Limmer. Pick your poison. Or we could go DT, which is also a huge need, since at least Nourzad and Limmer will be there at 119.

I'll make my official vote for the Nittany Lions Hunter Nourzad. Limmer was a work out warrior at the combine with 39 reps on the bench press and had a vertical leap of 36.5, but I worry if he is stout enough at a lean 6'5" and 302. Bortolini also lacks the hand size, bulk and has only 31" arms. Plus he has had problems with his knees. So I will go with Nourzad who was second team All Big Ten and has the ideal size at 6'3" and 320.

I am voting for Adisa Isaac, Edge, Penn St., best player available. Yes, we need a center, but what guys are left, I doubt any of them are day 1 starters. There are still some placeholders still on the free agent market.

Been a long time since I've been on here but it's good to see so many familiar names still posting.

So long as the rules are still what I remember them to be, I vote for Hunter Nourzad.

Meh. IMO we're looking at guys who likely top out as average NFL centers at this point. Nothing necessarily wrong with that, but they aren't a great value here, and there are still some band-aid options available on the market if they miss out on the position in Round 4.

I take the road less traveled and go with Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky University here. MORRGA (Make Our Receiving Room Great Again)

I also think Kilan Oladapo, S, University of Oregon would be a good pickup.

They call Malachi Corley the "YAC King" he is 5'11" and weighs 225. He is a beast to try and tackle once he gets his hands on the ball.

I've seen him listed more at 215, but I know what you mean. One of the first scouting reports I read on him led off with "Corley's highlight reel will be full of broken tackles and general carnage left in his wake."

Guy looks like he belongs in a Steeles uni:

I had not realized that Corley is still available. Let’s do it. Back to back WRs! Just for STD!

Malachi Corley gets my vote now,

Since this is the last Steelers pick and last rd of this years draft let’s keep voting open for another day. Doesn’t look like many people voted yet.

I’m swamped at work so updating the lists fell way behind, sorry about that, try and clean it up tonight and get a tally up for Steelers votes.

Yeah, we might as well go Center here, and getting the strongest player in this years draft, means he is not getting pushed backward by anyone. Beaux did 39 reps on the Bench, the next O-Lineman only managed 32. I used to love watching reruns of those 70s World Strongest men competitions, where member of the Steeler O-Line seemed to be competing for the Title.

That ain't no Sissy Squat there Baby!!!! 700 Pounds.

Arkansas center Beaux Limmer for me please.

If the Steelers finish the 3rd round, 4 picks later, and come away without a Center, that would be a major disaster for the team.

Although the kid they brought in from Penn St. could be their Ace in the hole in the 6th round.

    Booooo.. I demand a recount.

Any idea why Nourzard after being passed over for a Senior Bowl invite, would show up at the NFL combine and choose not to take the field with the rest of the O-Lineman???

Beaux Limmer combine results. Give this man a tip of the hat for competing in every single event at the combine. This guy is a workhorse!!! He was probably out there shagging Punts before the combine began.

Injury update on your 3rd round center.

Several Penn State Football Players Fighting Through Injuries Ahead Of NFL Draft | Onward State
Nourzad, who didn’t participate in any drills or individual workouts at the NFL Combine or Pro Day, called it “refreshing” to finally discuss the injury publically.

The sixth-year center has dealt with a minor stress reaction in his fibula. He isn’t sure how the injury happened but believes it started during the season and worsened due to a switch in his training schedule ahead of the combine.

Despite being unable to participate due to the injury, Nourzad was still in Indianapolis for the combine and trusts he had a productive visit.
