Adding to the Steeler QB fun facts - the Steeler organization has always had a lineage of passing down Steeler traditions with QBs who played with another similar to an Ancestry tree. The new Steeler QB room has broken that lineage that goes back to Bradshaw. Just for kicks I looked at it like a Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. I did not list every QB in the room, but just the lineage of someone in the QB room who played with someone who played with.....
By the way, I have a lot of time on my hands as a recent retiree with a wealth of useless trivia knowledge.

So here it goes for the Steelers QB room.

When is the last time the Steelers didn't have a QB on their roster that they drafted?

 

I think Hanratty #5 mentioned it was 1957.

 

No that was the last time we cleaned house and had no QB's returning from the previous year. The last Steeler QB who played here that we didn't draft was Michael Vick, we also didn't draft Charlie Batch or Byron Leftwich. You could say that we didn't draft Duck Hodges but he was signed as an UDFA.

 

It's a southern thing. LoL

 

I lived upstairs from a Papa John's, and a Baskin Robbins for over a year.....but the last time I ate Papa John's pizza was the AFC Championship loss to the Chargers. We were up before I ordered the pizza, and we started to lose as soon as after we ate it. I've said this many times,but I threw all the people out,and said get out all You bad luck MFs, and take that bad luck pizza with you. I have never eaten a single slice from them again.

I agree with you on those names, but I think the question was when was the last time not a single QB on the roster was drafted by Pittsburgh? I think you have it right with 1957 when they cleared the QB room from the prior year.
