Negotiations are a combination of factors; area in which the player plays, the roster that the team has, the Coaching Staff, if that player fits into their system, etc. Not merely just a stroke of the pen to paper. A lot has to be taken into account with these players before signing.

Keep in mind that the average NFL Career is roughly three years. Those who get a second contract?! They are trying to set themselves and their families up for life. Long story short?!

Free agency isn't always about being good... Free Agency is about how much someone is willing to pay you.

I guess signing Van Jefferson is to replace Allen Robinson?

I'm just bumping this back to the top, since someone wanted to bump all the Pickett threads of old stuff.

    Picks 1(20), 2(51), 3(84), 3(98), 4(119), 6(178), 6(195). I haven’t seen an updated cap number with all of our latest signings yet.

I believe Kahn is working on getting a QB and WR this weekend. Any guesses...I say they will probably sign Tannehill as #2 and draft a QB in the third.

I think they try and move up in the draft to get either a CB or WR, but that should become more clear in the next few days. I would guess they use #2 pick for a center.

We are not going to get tannehill. he is on his last end. We will be drafting a QB in the 3rd maybe 4th.

    Meh

Hard to get excited after the 3rd and 3 7ths have next to zero trade value

I wouldn't be surprised if they used some of those picks in 2025 to move up in the draft this year.

If they traded both 5s the 6 and all 3 7s that would possibly give them enough draft capital to move up one spot in the first yippie

Or are you planning on trading away 2 3 and 4 as well

Love me some chicken. Yes there’s still time but the quality of talent out there is being reduced pretty quickly. Why settle for chicken nuggets when you got breasts on the table.
