Im very afraid of this… i must not be seeing what a lot of people are seeing in Fields

 

As an Eagle hater and a Pickett hater this is either a dream come true or a total nightmare.

It's a good trade, because after next year he'd be worthless to us.

My 10yr old amongst several of her "real" issues is hung up on this labeling of generations bs. She's mad they don't have a label for her generation yet and confuses mine with melinnals. I tell her technical I'm in the Gen-X age group but don't identify with them. I didn't hate my folks, life, or upbringing. Didn't feel lost or out of place. Didn't do drugs or alcohol. Didn't feel the need for dark depressing music to be the voice of my angst free life. Most importantly Didn't feel Kurt Cobain was the voice of the generation. But I digress.

Let's get rid of all the QBs on the roster! Let's get a guy who was ran out of town by his initial team, then proceeded to face plant in Denver!

I wonder how Steve Deberg felt when Joe Montana was traded to the Chiefs by the 49ers. I think it was Deberg, anyway what QB in history would look at a 4 time SB champ being brought into the team you play for and think God this is the best thing ever.

There is a reason Ben Roethlisberger liked Landry Jones and Josh Dobbs. There was never any doubt that he was the starter. It's why Batch and Leftwich weren't packed off to other teams because they didn't threaten Ben.

I like DK, but anyone who follows Pittsburgh media knows that he and Dulac are often at odds and there doesn’t seem to be any love lost between them. As I said earlier, there are a couple of ways to “refuse”. I’m sure Kenny probably didn’t explicitly tell Mike Tomlin that he wasn’t suiting up, but I think he probably let it be known he’d rather not and pouted and manipulated the situation until he got his way.

 

Pretty sure most actual Gen X'ers think Cobain was nothing more than a punk addict...But that's another conversation.

 

The real question now is why they let Rudolph walk if this was a possibility
