I’m surprised they left it this long to cut him he was never coming back on that contract. Even the move to safety made no real sense, there are a lot of younger safeties in free agency that would be a better fit for the team.

PP was supposedly a great locker room guy and it wouldn’t be a shock to see him back on a much smaller deal. He can offer cover at both CB and S and by all accounts he was a good mentor to the younger guys.

 

Maybe he can just become a coach then because he can’t cover a slug.
